Chapter 15

We pull up at the cafe we're meeting Marcus and Niomi at, ever since we left the house, Jack's barely said a word... I look over to him to see him already staring back at me, his eyes looking glossy... I knew this wasn't a good idea.
"I'm so sorry Jack, we don't have to go in. I'll call Marcus to cancel" I say already pulling my phone out of my pocket, a hand stops me and I look up to see Jack staring deeply into my eyes.
"Don't baby, just tell me one thing..." He tears up even more, I nod my head reassuringly. "Don't leave me again" I see a tear fall down his cheek, I bring my hand up to his face gently wipe the tear away with my thumb.
"I wouldn't dream of it, you're the only man for me" But saying that, I can't help but feel a twinge of guilt in my stomach. 'what about marcus?' I thought to myself 'but I love jack' I reply back to the voice in my head... 'but you love Marcus too..." "I love you so much Iris" Jacks voice breaks me out of my thoughts. I swallow a lump in my throat and kiss him lightly on the lips... it doesn't feel as good as it used to.

"IRIS!!!" A loud squeal greets me as Niomi runs towards me, drowning me in a bear hug.
"Hi" I say awkwardly, patting her on the back. She pulls away and I feel an arm go around my shoulders, I smile up at Jack and he pecks me on the lips. We pull away and I feel him tense up, I look up to see him death glaring Marcus, marcus seems oblivious to it though and goes to shake Jacks hand.
"Nice to see you again mate" Jack doesnt even make a move to shake his hand and keeps looking at him. I grab hold of Jack's hand and instantely feel him relax, he smiles down at me and turns to marcus.
"Yeah, it's been a while" He grabs hold of marcus' hand and shakes it.
"Shall we order then?" Niomi butts in, I mentally thank her, feeling uncomfortable.

Lunch wasn't as bad as I thought it might've been, Although Jack did tense up whenever Marcus talked to me or smiled at me, luckily Niomi was oblivious to her boyfriends looks. We were currently saying our goodbyes, after giving Niomi a hug, Marcus walks towards me. Me, wanting to feel warm and comfortable in his arms, but also not wanting to make my boyfriend uncomfortable awkwardly smiles at him.
"Can I get a hug?" Marcus smiles shyly at me
"Uh, yeah" He pulls me into his warm embrace and buries his face in my neck.
"I wish you were mine." He whispers into my ear, I pull out of the embrace feeling guilty, my boyfriend was right there, watching another man flirt with me! I'm a terrible person.
walking up to Jack I cling onto his waist and he kisses me on the top of my head.
"Can we go now?" I ask him.
"Anything for you love"

Sorry I haven't uploaded in a while, I've just recently finished all my performances of my schools production! We did footloose and it was absolutely amazing!
Last chapter was really crappy and I apologise one million times over for that one!
