-Percy-

Something was beeping. I was not sure what it was, but I wanted to kill it.
I threw riptide at the area where I thought the noise was coming from, almost immediately after I threw it, riptide came flying back and hit me on my head.
"Mr. Jackson it is unproper and rude to throw objects at people."
Not recognizing the voice of the speaker I jumped out of bed uncapping riptide in the process.  What I saw scared me more than anything I've ever seen. (That includes Leo and Luke when they acted out parts of the Hunger Games. In the end Leo was chasing Luke around trying to get a kiss. I was scared for not only Luke, but also Leo's sanity.) It was McGonagall. She was staring at me like I was a virus and the reason there was darkness in the world was because of me. I guess she didn't like things getting thrown at her?

"I am here to escort you to Kings Cross Station."

"I'm not trying your be rude or anything, but like I told Hagrid, you really don't have to do that. I can just vapor travel there."

"Think! What happens if Harry gets attacked and you are not there?"

"We have a really nice feast to honor him with lots of 'Oh no, Harry's dead.' and 'May he rest in peace.', I fail my mission, and we all go home. It's pretty simple actually."

"You are going. Now get dressed and be downstairs in ten minutes. I'll be down stairs ready to leave. And one more thing, your are going to be head boy so you will get to have more access of the castle that other students don't receive."

"Um.. Thanks?" I wasn't really sure what to think of the head boy thing not knowing what is was,  but who cares. "I'll see you downstairs in ten minutes."

When she was walking out the door she called back, "Now you only have nine." Then see was gone. Geez, she scares me a lot.

I took a quick shower that lasted two songs, Under The Sea and Part of Your World. Then got changed in to a pair of jeans and a blue T-shirt. Next I threw everything in my room in my trunk. (Me being me I forgot to pack it before. When I finished I only had one minute left, so I grabbed all my things and ran downstairs.

"You are late."

"Only by one second, should we leave now or are we going to eat?"

"Because of you we are late and have to leave now. Grab my arm." Thinking how if I knew I wouldn't get to eat if I was one second late I would have used my powers to get every thing done, I grabbed her arm. All of sudden I got the feeling that came over me everytime I went shadow traveling. When my feet my feet touched the ground and the everything came into focus I took everything around me in. We were in a crowded train station between platform 9 and 10. "All you have to do is run through that barrier right there. It leads to the train station you have to be at."

"You want to run at that! Do do know that is solid, not water, not gas, solid! Some people say I'm stupid, but not that stupid."

"Fine, I'll do it first." She walked quickly at it, then right when she was about to hit the barrier she disappeared. Well I guess it's not solid. When she didn't come back, I followed her lead and did the same thing as her except running. when I thought I was going to get a huge head ache I saw that I was not in the same place I was at one second before. This place had a red beautiful train with tons of kids on it. "Come on we only have three minutes for me to show you where you have to be and then the train and I will be off."

"Where are you going?"

"I need to get back to the school to make sure everything and everyone is in order. Now let's go."

She lead me inside the train to a room where there were lots of teens dressed in robes that have either one if two badges.

"This is the cabin for Head Girl, the Prefects, and you, Head Boy. I will be leaving you here with them. Chaos believes you will immediately be put in Griffendor, that is the house for the brave, but we'll see if that is true later. Hermione is Head Girl so I'm going to call her over here so she can explain everything to you." She then said in a louder voice. "Hermione can you come here please."

I saw the same girl that was with Harry at Diagon Ally.

"Hello Professor. Hi Percy. What are you doing here?"
I waved at her and was about to answer her question when McGonagall spoke first.

"Percy here is going to be Head Boy."

"But Professor, Percy has never been to Hogwarts. How do you know he is qualified for Head Boy?"

"I know from sources that Perseus is going to be the Head Boy we need this year after everything that has happened.  Now I need you to make sure Percy knows what has to do and do it. I must leave and get back to Hogwarts. Good bye both of you and good luck Percy." She left and Hermione turned to me with a questioning look on her face.

"How does McGonagall know you'll be a good Head Boy?"

Even though I halfway knew the answer I didn't trust her so I put on a confused face. "I don't know, I was wondering what she was talking about too."

-Harry-

Getting off the train Ron and I were confused. On the entire way to Hogwarts we didn't see Hermione once.

I didn't worry about it too much thinking she was just doing all her head girl stuff, but Ron was really worried.

"She would have stopped by to say hi or something! Do you think she got left at the train station? Maybe she is making new friends so she will never have to see us again!"

"I am 100% sure that that will never happen. If she would have ever let us, it would have been a long time ago. She was probably busy the whole time and is now waiting for us to get a carriage. Calm down."

Right when I finished my sentence I did see Hermione, but she was not alone. Standing next to her was a very familiar face. Percy. What was she doing with him? She didn't even look like she was in pain to be talking to him, actually she was laughing with him. What is with that? Seeing Ron and I looking at them Hermione waved at us then tapped Percy on the shoulder pointing to us and saying something I could not make out. He shook his head saying no, then gave her a hug and left. Not before nodding his head in our direction. After he got lost in the crowd she turned to us walking quickly in our direction.

"Hey guys! How was your trip? Mine was brilliant. You will not guess who is head boy!"

"Our trip would have been better if we saw you at all.."

Ron grumbled, while I said, "Who?"

Ignoring Ron's comment Hermione replied saying, "Percy." with a big grin.

"What! He has never been to this school at all before and he's head boy! How is that possible!"

"I know! Harry and I deserve it so much more! Did he fight in a war? I don't think so!"

"Has he even been sorted? How does McGonagall even know what house he is in?"

She answered with, "Well, I'm not sure of the answer to any of those questions, but if McGonagall believes he is qualified enough to be Head Boy, so I do to."

What does that even mean? Hermione is supposed to know everything!

We finally found a carriage and started to head up to school. The entire way there the carriage was completely silent (except for the thestrals of course). Hermione tried to start up a conversation every once in a while, but because Ron and I were still super mad at her, we didn't even look her way. After what seemed like hours of boring silence the carriage stopped.

Looking at Hogwarts I saw the place I saw coming off the train at my first year at Hogwarts and "being" a wizard. It was full of mystery, majestic, huge, and didn't look like war happened to it.

Thinking back I noticed I have changed a lot from then to now. Some good others not so good. I know I've been acting a bit like a snob, but it's how I've been dealing with the deaths of the ones I love. I mean others let it out different ways. Like Ron, like me, has been a bit of a snob, Hermione studies and gets nightmares at night, Molly cleans none stop, and the twins try to cheer others up and put smiles on there faces even though sometimes they can't put it on their's.

I'm not at all proud of being a snob, but I'm trying to cope better.

Hopefully I do.
