Harry

Quidditch is quite possibly one of the only things that doesn't give my nightmares these days, but I decided to not play it this year so that I could get my head wrapped around everything that happened before. I was okay with that decision until I witnessed the Gryffindor team to be. Everyone at the tryouts were playing like they've never been on a broom before. I was in the stands, but anyone with eyes could tell how frustrated Ginny was at the moment. The only one who was doing slightly alright was  Ron, and that probably only because Ginny already said he was going to be on the team.

"Wait, I'm confused. Was Ron supposed to run into that pole?"

I take back my previous statement back.

"I really don't know what happened to the lot of them. They used to be brilliant."

Percy stared at the game looking as confused as he was when asked him if he wanted to come watch tryouts with me a few days ago.

"Do you even know what quidditch is?"

"No not really... I mean I never really paid attention to anything but my education in America."

"So you ignored an entire culture?" I saw that he was struggling to give an answer and decided to let him off the hook. "You know what, I don't really care. I'm going to teach you the basics. Do you see that ball right there?" I pointed to where a bunch of third years were trying, and failing to pass a quaffel properly. "That's a quaffle. There are three chasers on each team who try to get it into the three goals. If they get it in to one of them the team gets 10 points. The people who make sure that doesn't happen is the keepers and beaters. The keeper protects the goals, while the beaters try to knock the chasers of their brooms with bludgers. To end the game, the seeker, my old position, must catch the golden snitch. It's a small, fast golden ball with wings. When you catch that, your team get's 150 points and the game is over. Did you get all of that?" Turning to look at Percy, he saw the gears turning in his head.

"So I'm just putting this out there, but you said that you were a snitcher, or something like that, and if you get the small ball fast enough then it wouldn't matter how much your team sucked. Well, I see you look longingly at the pitch, so why are't you out there picking up for their slack?"

"Don't get my wrong, I do want to play, but I don't think that right now is the best time for me to get back into everything. I just want to be able to take a step back and find out what I want to do next."

"I respect that, but if you aren't snitcher, then who is?"

"First things first, it's seeker, and right now, no one. Ginny says that no-one want to be seeker after me. She's thinking of training somebod..." a idea came to me and I knew that if it worked out Gryffindor might have a chance for victory this term. "So, Percy. Do you happen to be afraid of heights?"

Percy

When some stops in the middle of a sentence and gives you a creepy smile you should automatically run as far away from that location as possible. You think I would have leaned this already with spending so much time with Leo, but what can I say, once a seaweed brain, always a seaweed brain. That is why I was now holding a stick and had no idea what to do with it.

"Wait, so am I just supposed to sit on it?"

"Yup. And then just go for it. I'm sure you'll do great." Even though he seemed to have faith in me, I could tell there was a part of Harry who thought I was going to fail, and maybe even wanted it to happen a little too.

Hoping that I wouldn't embarrass myself to much, I slowly started to rise off the ground.

"Brilliant, you're a natural!"

Having been blessed by Zeus, the higher I went, the more I felt comfortable until I was flying across the pitch with ease.

"Bloody hell, how are you so good at flying." All of the students who were trying out for the team were all watching me with a look of amazing and jelousey.

"Percy, would you like to try out for Seeker?" Ginny spoke now to me, but had her head turned toward Harry where he mounted her a, "Your welcome."

"Umm... I guess..."

.

"You should have been there! It was like he was moving at the speed of light!"

"He caught the snitch in less than a minute! It was brilliant!"

"I heard that he didn't even know how to use a broom five minutes before that!"

"I wouldn't believe it if I couldn't see it!"

"He might be the best in the world!"

Every person at dinner didn't have a care in the world about there classes for the year. All that mattered to them was the mysterious new guy who was Gryffindors new secret weapon. In other words, me.

Every girl was staring at me as if I was a piece of chocolate or something, and every guy wanted to be friends with me. The only people who were treating me like a semi ordinary person was the golden trio and their closest friends, but even sometimes Harry would have to snap his fingers in front of one of their faces to make them stop staring at me.

Feeling the need to be alone, I quickly rushed to finish my dinner and all, but ran to my dorm.

Taking my chaos phone out of a secret compartment in one of my cabinets, I found that I had almost 700 missed phone calls in the last week. Seeing who called me the most, I decided to get back to the one and only Leo Valdez.

Almost immediately he answered his chaos phone, and I saw I life sized version of my friend in front of me.

"Oh my primortals! His royal princelyness is alive. I can't believe it. You think you would care about your best friends a little to, I don't know, call them! Lucky Pie and I have been worried sick!"

"Not that much, but you really should have called us." Luke tired to get in the call, but Leo pushed him out of the way.

"You both know that I am undercover. If I called you all the time, you would probably break cover  the second time I called you."

"True, but still, we miss the trio. How long are you going to be gone for?

"I'm not sure guys 1 year here is a long time over there."

"That's so long!"

"It will come sooner than you expect."

"No it won't!"

"Well maybe we can visit you once every chaos year?" Luke's voice posed into our conversation again, but Leo refused to move to the side.

"Would you let us do that Percy?"

"As long as you don't break my cover, I'm all for..."

"Good, then it's settled! Bye!"

With that my best friend's smiling face was gone.

Looks like Leo is coming to town! Tell me who of the gang you want to make an appearance at Hogwarts. I think that's it!

XO,

Giselle
