•Sam's POV•

"Come on just stay for a bit then you can go to the beach with Gilisnky," Ethan said as we entered the house.

"Fine, but I'm not going to do much but sit my ass on that nice couch," I smiled as I walked over to the couch and sat down next to some random guy.

"Hey, you're cute," The random guy said.

"No my name is Sam silly," I laughed as I sat back in the couch as someone sat next to me.

"Until you go to the beach I'm sticking with you," Matt said.

"I'm cool with that," I smiled and rested my head on Matt's shoulder.

"You've got your water?" Matt asked.

"Indeed I do," I laughed as I grabbed my bag and took out my water bottle and set my head back on his shoulder.

"Good," Matt rested his head on mine and grabbed my hand and started to play with my fingers.

"If you just want to hold my hand Matthew you can," I laughed looking down at our hands.

"I just like to play with your fingers," he laughed.

"This is all you have to do Matthew look," I smiled as I took his hand and intertwined our fingers.

"And now you know how to hold a girls hand," I laughed.

"Whatever I've always known how to hold a girls hand," He laughed.

"Sure," I laughed.

Wait, what am I doing? I can't start getting feelings for Matt and I cant have him get feelings for me. That will just mess up the amazing friendship I have with him.

"Uh- Ima go get Gilinsky so we can go to the beach," I said as I let go of his hand.

"Okay, I'll be over there later," Matt smiled as I stood up.

"Okay," I smiled and walked around the house to look for Jack.

"There you are Gilinsky, you ready to go to the beach?" I asked.

"Yeah lets go," he smiled taking my hand and took me outside.

I already had my bikini under my clothes and Jack had his swimming trunks on so I took off my shirt, shorts, and shoes and put everything in my bag and we made our way to the water.

The water was right at our ankles and we just walked and talked.

"Why California?" Jack asked.

"Huh?"

"Out of all the places you could move to, why Cali?"

"Honestly I don't know, Matt was already moving here and I just wanted to move out of Virginia."

"Would you still pick California of all places to move to if it were up to you?" Jack asked looking over at me.

"Yeah, even before Matt and I became close friends the plan was to move out to California with my boy- ex boyfriend, but that got screwed up so here I am with Matt."

"What happened to your ex?"

"He cheated on me twice I forgave him the first time, stupid of me I know, but the second time he broke up with me then told  me that he cheated on me with my bestfriend, well now ex bestfriend. That's why I wanted out of Virginia."

"What a jack ass...Do you still love him?"

An innocent question for someone to ask when they are just trying to make conversation and trying to get to know you.
