•Matt's POV•
While I was sitting in the back, Sam was driving with Jack in the passenger seat. They were acting different, closer. Jack was being all touchy and flirty while Sam was being cute and giggly.
I'll admit that I may be gaining feelings for Sam, I try to stop it but its not easy. Her simple smile makes me go insane. I couldn't help but wish that I was the one in the passenger seat instead of Jack.
"Matt?" I heard Sam say breaking me from my thoughts.
"Huh?"
"We're at the apartment, come one," Sam smiled.
Like I said, her smile makes me go insane.
"Where's Jack?" I asked.
"He already made his way up to the apartment."
I got out of the car and closed the door behind me and started walking next to Sam. Kind of nervous for some reason.
"Uh, Sam?"
"Mhmm?" Sam looked over at me with a smile.
"What's up with you and Gilinsky?" I asked sticking my hands in my front pockets.
"We kissed at the beach Matt, and he made me forget about Chase."
"You don't think it's kind of early? I don't want you getting hurt Sam." I said as we stepped inside the elevator.
"I'm pretty sure we won't end up together, Jacks sweet but I always tend to go for the guys who aren't best for me."
"Like who Sammy?" I said looking down.
"I don't even know anymore Matty. I don't want to get into anything right now, you're the only guy I want in my life right now." Sam said as we stepped out of the elevator.
"Then I will be," I said taking Sam's hand & intertwining our fingers, "just don't let things get too far."
Sam smiled and kissed my cheek. The touch of her lips on my skin gave me the chills and I couldn't help feel this way about her.
We got to the door and knocked since Jack decided to lock the door. I could tell Sam how I'm feeling and see what she says about it. I was mentally pep talking myself. I looked over at Sam and she looks at me giving me a smile.
"Sam can I tell you something?" I asked.
"Yeah sure what is it?"
"Sam I uh-" Jack opened the door cutting me off and we both looked at him and he looked down at our hands.
"Sorry I was just in the restroom," Jack laughed.
We walked inside and I closed the door behind us letting go of Sam's hand. When I turned around Sam was in front of me.
"You wanted to tell me something Matt?" Sam asked.
"Uh, no just forget about it," I smiled and walked over to the couch sat down and turned on the tv.
Sam walked to our room and Jack sat next to me.
"Hey Matt, could I ask you something?" Jack asked.
"Yeah sure what up?"
"But answer like truthfully."
"Alright," I said looking over at Jack.
"Do you have a thing for Sam? Because if you do I promise I'll back off, last thing I need to do is mess things up for you. So be straight with me, if you had the chance to be with Sam would you take it?"
