One Wish (Camren) (G!P)

Chapter 14.

Camila's POV

"There they are!" Ally gushes with a small squeal, welcoming both tall girls with a tight hug of congratulations. "Congrats, ladies! You two crowned Gryffindor with the Quidditch cup!"

I smile wide as the shorter girl pulls away, allowing me to reach in for both smiling girls. I pull them both into a gentle hug, squealing loudly as I jump up in down in their arms, "I can't believe this! Normani that save, holy crap! And Dinah, Jesus Christ that arm though!"

"Trust me chanch, I can't believe it either." Dinah sighs contently, removing her black gloves before throwing them over her bed. I watch as Lauren steps forward to greet both girls with tight, warm hugs, congratulating them on how well they did.

As she pulls away, Ally lets out a small gasp, smacking her forehead like she had remembered something. Ally cautiously turns to look at Normani, sympathy evident over her features.

"How's your hand?" She asks concerned as she takes Normani's bandaged hand.

After the game, Normani had been taken into the hospital wing in need of proper care. She had sprained her wrist after the fall and it was pretty swollen, too. She was bandaged up and given painkillers to soothe the pain of the injury.

"It'll get better," Normani smiles, "Besides, it's just a sprain. It'll be fine in a week tops."

"Hopefully," Dinah adds, taking her hand to inspect it herself.

"Hey...girls?" We turn to see Lauren sitting over my bed, scratching the back of her ear with a small frown. We carefully walk towards the nervous girl, giving her a questioning look. "W-what time is it?"

I take a small glance at Dinah and she gives Lauren a reassuring smile, laughing softly. "It's only six, you don't leave for a while."

Lauren frowns, "I leave in two hours."

I sigh softly, remembering what Professor Dumbledore had told us. Lauren had to be back in her dorm by eight tonight, and it was already six, so we only had about two hours to celebrate and give her the best night of her life...it wasn't enough time.

"No you don't," Dinah chuckles. I turn to give her a questioning look and she gives me a certain look I can't describe. "I asked professor Dumbledore for permission to let you sleepover tonight. He said he would allow it as long as we kept quiet and inside our dorm at all times after our curfew."

"He did..?" Normani asked unsurely.

"Yes, he did," Dinah emphasizes, giving us a certain look. "Now let's make tonight worthwhile before we run out of time, there's this celebrating after-party we were invited to, we should head going!"

"Wait!"Lauren calls out for her before Dinah can reach the door. She doesn't seem so sure about Dinah's revelation, but she swallows hard and sighs softly, "At what time am I supposed to back at my dorm then?"

Dinah takes a quick glance at the ground before turning to meet Lauren's confused green eyes, "Uh, by eleven in the morning tomorrow, right after we eat."

Lauren eyes Dinah for a few seconds, blinking hard before giving her a quick nod. "O-okay..well, are you sure? I don't want any of you to get punished because of me, so please tell me the truth. Did you really ask him..?"

Dinah sighs, offering a small grin. "I'm sure, Lauren. Relax, I know you're nervous but everything will be fine, okay?

None of us say anything after that, because Ally, Mani, and I know that what Dinah had told the poor girl was a lie. She hadn't asked Dumbledore about anything...She just didn't want the girl to sleep alone after tonight. I could see it in her eyes, she didn't want to let Lauren go. She was feeling what I had felt the first time I met Lauren.
