"I was Anakin Skywalker's padawan," she started her voice sad but her eyes glimmered as she remembered her past. "He was not always known as Darth Vader, a demon that preyed on good and light, throughout the galaxy. He was once young like all things and time changed him from boy slave, to jedi hero, the chosen one, to the emperor's apprentice. He was born a slave on Tatooine and later apprenticed to Obi wan Kenobi but that was before I knew him. They said he was the chosen one, that he would bring balance to the force. In a way he did, just not in the way they expected. He was a knight battling in the clone wars when I first met him. He was already well known as a hero in the clone army. He hadn't asked for an apprentice.  He had not wanted one, thought it would slow him down. Master Yoda thought giving Anakin a padawan would teach him to learn to let go when the time came for me to become a jedi. Instead it was his inability to let go and trust others that both led to him loosing me and everything else he cared about," said Ahsoka.  She closed her eyes remembering that day at the Jedi temple where her life had changed forever.
