Lyla's Perspective

I gasped to myself, waking up from the drowsy daydream I happened to fall into as Margo spoke up.

" Lilly..." she smiled as I smiled back. " you're actually drifting off...I haven't seen you do that in years... " I chuckled.

" I guess. This job actually found a way to make the insomniac tired. " she laughed. I looked at the clock. It was one am, precisely. Margo and I had now found ourselves new jobs at a similar restaurant to the one Oswald broke down, except this one was a lot busier, paid more, and stressed me out a lot more. Even though the stress tended to be a good thing, because it helped me be more tired, which naturally helped me do more sleeping.

It seemed like our lives were much better than how they were before. But I still missed him at times...

I heard the bell ring as the door opened, I couldn't see who it was at first. Margo saw first. She looked back towards me and smiled.

" Right on time I guess. " she walked to the back. I could see the man sitting down at a table. So naturally, I walked over. He kept his head down, I held up my notepad.

" What can I get you? " he looked up at me slowly. It was him...it was Oswald. I gasped. I didn't know what to say...I didn't know what to do. But there he was, right in front of my eyes. In the very flesh. The man who annoyed me then lead me on then left me.

" Coffee, please. Extra sugar. "
