Chapter 2
Chris' P.O.V.
Sunlight burned my eyelids causing me to roll over and groan rather loudly.
"Shut up Chris! Some of us are still trying to sleep." I heard Mary say from somewhere in the room
I lifted my head and looked around.
Lily, Mary, Alice, and I were sprawled across the room, all of us in a sugar-high-hangover.
I looked at the nearest clock, which happened to be Mary's alarm clock.
10:45
"Guys," I groaned again "It's already quarter to 11. Breakfast has already started."
The only thing I got in response was a round of groans from my 3 friends.
I rolled my eyes.
I grabbed onto the side of someones bed and hauled myself to my feet.
I stumbled out the door and down the hall to my room.
I opened the door and went over to my trunk.
It was Friday, but we had today and the weekend to get settled in.
I pulled on my signature outfit:
Dark wash skinny jeans that had rust, dirt, and oil stains from the countless times I've wiped my hands on them while I worked on my truck; a black, v neck, fitting t-shirt; my black leather biker boots, my black leather belt, and my black digital watch.
Yeah. I wear a lot of black.
I grabbed my bag and looked through it to see if I had everything:
5 vials of gunpowder;
1 bronze dagger;
2 big explosives;
3 small explosives;
5 single fireworks;
1 packet of self-replenishing matches;
a 750mg container of self-replenishing sea salt;
and 7 small candles.
Satisfied, I slung my bag over my shoulder, grabbed my wand and slipped it into my right boot.
I walked out my room and into the CR.
I knew I had missed breakfast, so I knew that the only place that I could get some food, would be the kitchens.
I climbed out the portrait hole and started my descent to the 5th floor, sliding down the banisters.
The girls (Lils, Mar, Al, and Andy) think that I'm crazy for doing this since the stair cases can move at anytime they want, but I basically grew up at Hogwarts, so I know all the little tricks and secrets.
~*~*~*~*~
I heard the door to the ROR open and a pair of feet walk in.
I rolled out from under my truck to see who it was.
"Hello?" I called out
When I worked on my car, the ROR transformed into an old car garage with stacks of scrap metal and old parts.
From behind a pile of mufflers, someone stepped out.
It was Remus Lupin.
He was wearing a pair of jeans with a red jumper, that made his brown eyes look like melted chocolate.
I shook my head, clearing it of my thoughts.
I set my wrench down and wiped my hands on my jeans and sat up.
