they just finished unpacking their stuff as Scott suddenly ran outside to look for his boyfriend. Then he noticed it was daylight. He didn't want to wait 'til the night to see Mitch, he already waited too long, he couldn't wait any longer.
"What's wrong?" His dad asked noticing he just stood there thinking.
"Mitch only comes out at night."
"Really? That sounds weird." He said confused.
"I know, but he's scared of being discovered. He doesn't like it when he's exposed to other people bec-"
"Scott!" He heard as he turned around and saw him running his way and as soon as he reached him he hugged him really tightly. "Scott I missed you so much, you have no idea!"
He pulled away to see his face "so much that you ran out in the daylight?" He laughed.
Mitch bit his lip before hugging him again. "Promise me this won't happen again. I thought you were dead for a second."
Scott laughed once again, "why did you think that?"
"Rigel told me." Mitch said as Scott rolled his eyes.
"Of course." Mitch smiled widely at Scott, it was long since they last saw each other and now that he's in the daylight he noticed slight changes on Scott. Like his adorable freckles that he never thought he had, his blue eyes, his blonde hair, he looked so beautiful, he thought. "Is everything okay Mitch? You've been staring at me for ten seconds."
"Seconds go by fast don't they?" He asked ignorantly. "Is nothing, I just haven't noticed how beautiful you are until now." Scot blushed at that. "Aww, your cheeks are pink."
"N-no they're not."
"Yeah they are, and is adorable." He said making him blush even more, "now they're red, are you okay?" He said smiling yet sounding a bit worried. He'd never seen a face so red before.
"I fine, t-thank you. Anyways, how have you been?"
Mitch smiled, "I've been great thanks, but who cares about me, tell me about you, how's life out of this place?"
"I would tell you, that that'd be a long story."
"Is okay, I have all week." He said smiling making Scott blush again.

It was noon and Mitch had been listening to Scott with great interest. Scott's life was so interesting to him, like reading a book or watching a movie. Only that he hasn't done any of those. "How do you do it?" Mitch asked.
"What do you mean?"
"How do you always manage to be happy? Don't you shut down some times?" He asked with curiosity.
"I'm only thirteen, all I can do is be happy. I have a loving father, a great family, good friends-"
"What about your mom?" That name lingered around Scott's head for as long as he could remember. He's never talked to his mom, he's never seen his mom. He never, asked.
"I don't have a mom Mitch. She.." Scott tried to explain, but he couldn't. He didn't know how. But he didn't want Mitch to worry. "Can we not talk about it? That subject is always avoid for some reason." he said as Mitch nodded with perplexity.
"I'm sorry for asking." Mitch said pressing his lips together with shame. Scott smiled. He was cute. "The sun is so bright in the day." Mitch said looking at it with wide eyes making Scott smirk.
"You may not want to open your eyes that wide Mitch, you might-"
"Why is it so bright?" He said turning his face towards me.
