Death

The battle was raging on around Thantalus and Susanna. They fought back to back the soldier using the mulcher was next to them, mowing down Hive like they were nothing.

Thantalus had recently run out of ammo and was throwing lightning bolts around him, Susanna was busy pummeling a Hive Knight when Thantalus was swallowed up in a horde of acolytes and Thralls. He couldn't fight them all off at once and was getting pushed around between the kills he was racking up.

A sharp pain radiated from his right shoulder to his left hip. A Knight had hit Thantalus with his sword. Thantalus was thrown down on the ground. The knight brought his sword up for another strike. He paused with a scream as a sword tip protruded from his chest. The knight fell and Thantalus was helped up by none other than Shaxx who ditched his HMG and was using his sword. Shaxx nodded and picked Thantalus up. With a laugh, Shaxx charged into the fray his sword moving at lightning speed. Thantalus let out a quick giggle as pieces of Hive flew in all directions.

Thantalus was watching his troops. They were now in the cleanup stages of the battle. The guardians and humans and Fallen were victorious. Random and sporadic gunfire could be heard as the Guardian forces killed the remaining Hive. He was still troubled though. As he walked over The dead bodies of Hive, Fallen and Human troops, it felt wrong. This was too easy...

Not a second later huge rifts formed in the ground on either side of him. Susanna was close so she jumped over with him and Alex joined soon after. His bow was in his hand a void energy was being pulsed through it. His night stalker abilities. He looked to Susanna as she summons solar energy into solid mass and summons her sun breaker hammer. He was witnessing their true potential now. He remained still, a small amount of arc energy flow around his arms. He readied himself for this fight.

The three Guardians stood in the center of the platform, everyone else were on the other side of the rifts barricaded off by some sort of Hive barrier. At the moment, Thantalus was struck by an unseen force then lifted into the air, Hive Magic. Alex and Susanna looked around for their foe.

Detrinan, Death of Light rose from the rift. Susanna and Alex stood, frozen, they couldn't move even if they'd wanted to. Detrinan let a small giggle pass through her smirk. Thantalus looked around. The Two Colossus had risen up and were fighting the Guardians Humans and Fallen, He could hear their screams being amplified trough the barrier.

"You bitch! I'll fucking kill you for that!"

He summoned copious amounts of arc and, again, was nullified by her energy. He started toward her. He was going to end this with his bare hands. He stopped his body stood frozen, she lifted him up telekinetically and brought him close to her face, ripping his helmet off, she kissed him on the Forehead. His eyes turned black and black veins were visible on his neck and forehead. She giggled slyly,

"Haha, Thantalus, you could never hope to break from me. Ever since I saw you there in my Caverns you stood out. You had a strange energy about you. You were close to being Consumed. I wonder, how you are still alive even now?"

Thantalus' head was throbbing, he stood stock still trying to fight the takeover. Something inside him awoke and arc energy flowed around his body,

"That's it Thantalus, come to me, become my thrall!"

Thantalus turned to Alex and Susanna, arc energy accumulating in his right palm. Alex started yelling in anger and fear,

"Thantalus! What are you doing!"

Thantalus got closer,

"Thantalus, stop!"

Thantalus brought back his fist the energy swirling around it.
