Chapter 15: Missed Calls

As I was driving to Mom and Dad's I had the weird feeling something might happen to Killian. I shouldn't have left him alone. I parked my bug and walked up to the apartment plaza doors. I opened the door and walked over to Mom's apartment. I knocked on the door and Mom opened it. She let me in and said, "Take a seat."

I sat down and looked at the ground.

"Are you ok honey?" Mom said uneasy.

"No,I feel like I shouldn't have left Killian alone. I should head back just in case." I said as I rubbed his ring against my fingers.

"You can go. I'll go with you." Mom said reassuring.

"Ok"

As we walked out the door Dad said, "Bye guys. Love you."

"Love you, too." Mom said.

We closed the door and walked down to my bug. We got in and drove to my house.

We got to my house and I parked the car. I got out and locked it. I walked up to the door and unlocked it and walked in.

I slowly looked around the corner and gave a sigh of relief.

Killian was still there in the same place I left him.

I walked over and sat on the couch.

Mom said, "Do you want me to go or stay?"

"I doesn't matter. What ever you want."

"I'll go I think you need some more alone time." She said as she walked out the door. "Bye, I love you!"

"I love you, too" I said as she shut the door.

I looked out the window and then realised she didn't have a ride. I opened the door and said, "Mom you don't have a ride."

"I texted David, don't worry about it." she said motioning for me to go back in the house.

"Ok." I slowly shut the door and went to look out the window again.

Dad came down the rode in his truck and picked up Mom. As they drove off I looked down at my phone and saw that I had 2 missed calls from Regina.
