Chapter five: Tell me who did it!

My lips tingled as she kissed me. It was the most wonderful thing in the world but it all ended to soon as I pulled away panting for breath. I leaned forward and our heads connected.  I pulled away and twirled a strand of her hair around my finger. She was so beautiful. I planted a soft kiss on her head and backed away. She reached out for my hand and I smiled.

"Princess I have some business to attend to so I will see you soon okay?" The light faded from her eyes but her facial facade masked her disappointment. Reluctantly she let go of my hand and walked into the bathroom.  I smiled. Nothing was going to bring me down.

When I got to my office I saw Daisy and she looked upset. I walked into the room and her head looked up. Her eyes were filled with tears. She got up from the couch and ran towards me. I wrapped my arms around her protectively as her grip around me tightened and I heard her start to sob. I stroked her hair trying to sooth her but her sobs got louder.  I pulled away from her and looked her in the eyes.

"Tell me whats wrong Daisy." I pleaded.

Sniffling, she replied "I... I got rejected Shane. My m....ate rejected me." I felt my anger rise and I couldn't believe some mutt had done that to my best friend.

"TELL ME WHO DID IT DAISY" I demanded. She shuddered and shook her head. I demanded again but she simply shook her head and walked away. Using my alpha tone, I shouted "Daisy tell me now!" She turned around shocked and said "It was Jacob your best fighter okay?" With that she walked off and left me in my office to gather my thoughts. That mutt was going to pay and he was going to accept Daisy as his mate.

I miss him already. I just want to hug him again and smell his beautiful scent again. When he left I went into the bathroom and had a cold shower. Why a cold shower well we werewolves are always warm so you know having a cold shower is really refreshing. When I walked out I realized that I had no clothes. I looked in Shane's wardrobe. Everything in there was massive but I managed to find a pink shirt that looked like it hadn't been worn in a while. It was smaller than the rest and was only a little bit baggy.  Underneath I put on my undergarments and I was quite happy with my appearance. It look like a genuine dress. I looked cool. Add sarcasm there. After I was happy with my appearance I walked out of the room and down the stairs towards the pack living room and asked one of the pups where Shane's office was. A little girl with deep blue eyes and golden hair grabbed my hand and led me out of the room and towards a hallway. High pack members were walking around. She led me to a brown oak door and left me there. I said thank you and was about to walk in when I heard voices on the other side.

I pressed my ear against the door and heard Shane and a voice a very familiar voice. I think it was that girls; what was her name? Daisy. Yes that was it. Daisy. Carefully I turned the handle and peeped inside. Shane had his arms wrapped around her and her head was on his shoulder. I quickly shoot the door as my eyes started to water letting tears leak out and slip down my face. I walked away wiping the tears off my face. I was wrong. Shane could always ruin a perfect moment......
