Louis was startled by the opening of their- his bedroom door. A moment after, the closet door was being opened and closed. Soon was the shuffling of clothes and zipping close of a bag or suitcase could be heard.
It continued like that for ten minutes but Louis didn't plan on getting up nor move an inch under the confines of his fluffy duvet. Waking up in the morning was his favorite part of the day because that means he will see, kiss and cuddle the reason why he's awake, or even alive.
But that moment, Louis didn't feel like opening his eyes. Because Louis thought what was the point? Even if he would see her first thing in the morning, he already has no right to do anything to her, except of letting her go.
But the thing was, Louis wasn't sleeping. Sure, he was laying in his bed and his eyes were closed but his mind and heart wouldn't let him sleep. He didn't sleep a wink the whole night because he was crying his eyes out that came to a point there were no more tears left.
For the past few weeks, it has been too edgy on every corner of their shared flat that the night before, they both exploded at the same time that they didn't even realize they were already hurting each other, not physically but mentally and emotionally. They didn't even think about the big possibility of them leaving each other's lives.
A little hope bubbled in Louis' chest when he felt a presence near him. It was quickly vanished when he heard the words released by his ex-lover.
"Please be safe and do whatever makes you happy. Sadly, I can't give that to you that's why I'm doing this. I still love you but... Good bye, Louis."-
Louis wrapped his jacket tighter around his trembling body, thanks to the stubborn London weather.
He can see her walking away from him. His heart was already shattered, stomped and ripped to pieces to the ground but every second passed that he knows she will be gone in his life, it's like tons and tons of bricks and large stones falling from the sky were shattering thoroughly his already broken heart.
Call him drama queen but that was what he really felt.
Louis finally came to a stop, body behind a life-sized standee of whatever it was about promoting food or something, he didn't care. His eyes were focused on her, whose waiting for the next train.
Both of them whipped their heads to the sound of the incoming train. Both hearts heavy and full of guilt but none of them backing down from their pride built the night before.
Dozens of people came and waited for the train but that didn't stop Louis in staring at her. Who knows, it would be the last time he will lay his eyes on her.
The train stopped and the people started to go in when the doors opened but she still didn't move an inch on her spot.
Louis silently prayed she'd come back to their flat and apologize for everything. To come running to him if she spotted him watching her like a complete damn freak.
Tears streamed down her cheeks, not caring if she was receiving odd and pitiful looks. Her heart couldn't do it, but her mind said otherwise. It was like her heart and mind were battling and arguing with each other. Both has cracks and bruises because of the life changing fight that has happened. It will change her life if she stepped on the train.
Her beaten heart said LouisLouisLouis. But her stubborn mind said LeaveLeaveLeave.
She couldn't choose.
The more Louis can see her, the more his hopes getting high that she would change her mind and come back to him.
She covered her face by her hands because her tears couldn't stop from falling and falling. But she just can't hide the pain.
