Jesus there are never this many people here at this time. No wonder they called me in.

Ellie walked through the door of the bar, her body still feeling heavy from the attack last night. Her palms had been stitched up - the gashes deep enough for stitches - and her knees had been wrapped. She wore leggings on her tiny legs, and a white flowey shirt that was soft and comfy. She had her beat up boots on, and looked nothing like she usually does. Her regular attire consists of jeans, a tank top, and her old converse. Today she was wearing out of comfort, rather than to give off the impression of 'don't hit on me, I'll bite your dick off.' kinda thing. Over the years she found if she wore more dirtied and beat up clothing, the less people hit on her. Today she knew the oncoming perverts would be harassing her by the glint in their eyes.

It briefly crossed her mind as to why this many people were here in the bar at 11 in the morning, but she didn't ask. She wanted this job and if Mike, the owner, found she was questioning his 'work method' she would be fired immediately. So instead of taking any chances, she walked over to the counter, and signed in. Then she started waiting the tables, each time the men getting more and more disgusting and vulgar with their comments.

"Ellie! Ellie, come over here real quick!" Ellie looked up from the table she was taking orders from, and saw one of the main day time workers, Beth, waving frantically. Ellie apologized to the men for the disturbance, finished their orders, and walked over to Beth, who was behind the bar.

"Yeah Beth, what's up? Is something wrong?" Ellie asked in concern. Beth was a tall girl of 5'10", with pretty blonde hair, and striking green eyes. Her body was slim and held muscle, making her even more desirable. Beth was half wolf, seeing as her Mother was human, but her Father was a low ranking pack member. She couldn't shift, neither did she have an inner wolf, but she had endurance that surpassed most humans. She was also given the gift of beauty.

Ellie felt like a potato next to her.

"Hey, okay, this would like make my day for like, ever. So I was wondering if you could cover me at noon till like, ...six...?" Ellie sighed. She knew exactly why Beth wanted her to cover for her. The wolf from last night hadn't left her mind yet, and she knew that Beth wanted to go to the meeting in town square. Ellie sighed, and opened her mouth to object but the clock on the wall turned to twelve, and Beth's eyes widened. "Thanks Ellie! I owe you one!" Then Beth was gone, as well as every other human in the bar. Which was all of the staff except her. Ellie sighed as all the wolves turned to her with an eyebrow raised.

"If anyone wants a drink, I'm afraid you'll have to come to the bar to get one, seeing as I am the only human here." She quietly.

By the time the clock reached three, most of the staff had returned. All they talked about was how smokin' hot the Alpha Prince was, or how they wish they were his mate, or how they would rule the world the best if they were High Luna. No one spoke to Ellie, seeing as she was always quiet and reserved. With her chocolate brown hair that reached her lower back, her blue eyes, and boney figure, she would be considered a runt, if in a pack. She stood at a meager 5'3", never really spoke unless she had too, but sweet and kind none the less.

Every one was having a great time. Whatever the Alpha King had said had certainly made an impact on the people. People adamantly talked amongst each other, all people saying one thing. Leonidas would be King no matter what, even if they returned back to Capitol empty handed. Ellie was surprised to hear this. She had no idea how old the King was, or how old the Prince was. She just assumed him to be a young and unwise boy, not yet ready to lead a pack, never mind the whole world.
