Chapter 17

Harry drove me home. As soon as he left I wanted him. So badly. I wanted him with me.

"Don't worry Megan, it's only the forest 24 hours! You'll get used to it."

"Hey Alexa! What are you doing here?"

"I stopped by to talk."

"Cool. Wanna go inside?"

She's gonna say no.

"Nah, lets stay out here."

"Okay, so what's up?"

"We'll first of all, congrats with the whole Harry thing. And second of all hunter is an alpha."

"OMG really! You lucky duck!"

"I know right! He told me over dinner last night."

"Haha cool. I can't believe I'm gonna have to have to marry Harry. I mean I'm only in senior year."

"So am i."

"Yeah well it is easier for you."

"Yeah. I guess. Wanna go inside and grab some coconut?"

"Sure."

We hiked up the steps and ran inside. Coconut is fun to chew on and tastes delicious. Me and Alexa go through a lot of it. The shredded coconut is chewy but easy to eat so we go through like a whole bag at one sitting. I opened the bag and took out a handful and shoved a bit of coconut in my mouth it had such a sweet flavor. Maybe me and Alexa could play some video games at my house.

"Hey alexa, wanna go play some video games?"

"Sure"

We hiked to my house eating the coconut. Yum. On the way there we met up with ebony.

"Hey ebony, what are you doing?"

She told us

"I was really bored so I decided to visit 'the outside world'"

"You never come out of the forest?"

"Nope"

"Why"

"Cause I like the forest better."

"Oh, did you hear we killed Ynobe?"

"YOU WHAT?!"

"killed Ynobe. Is that a problem."

"Yes! Of course it is! Her evil magic is released into the air and can be picked up by anyone! What if the president walks by and he picks up the evil magic, he could ruin our country!"

"But the president isn't coming here."

"That's the thing!! The magic travels till it finds the right person."

"Oh gosh."

"Ok, we need to go get Cassie."

"Who is Cassie?"

"She might be able to find Ynobe's

Magic. Then if we do, we can trap it in a glass jar so it will never escape."

We ran into the forest. Who new killing a unicorn would be so hard.she couldn't of told us this before hand? It would have been so much easier. And the magic could be anywhere in the country by now like-

"There she is!"

Ebony interrupted.

"Where?"

Said Alexa

"You can only see her if you have magical powers other than natural ones."

"Dang it."

Alexa muttered

"Wait, why? That's a weird reason."

I asked

"Cause she has powers other than her natural powers and she only wants people like her to see her."

"Oh."

"So what will Alexa do?"

"Go home"

"What?"

"If Alexa can't help there is no need for her to be here."

"Fine ill go home"

"But I want her to be here with us."

"Fine, she can be look out. Alexa go stand over there and look out for intruders"

"Okay"

She walked over by the tree and was looking when the world started to spin

"Ebony why are we spinning?"

"Cassie is taking us to her secret lair"

I saw Alexa turn around and jump at us. But before she could make it we were in Cassie's lair.

"YOU JUST DITCHED HER!"

"Hey calm down."

"I hate you! How do I get out of here?"

"Cassie will have to teleport you"

Now I'm mad. I'm in Cassie's lair. And it's really creepy too. All the walls were purple and in the center of the room there is a table holding multiple items like dead birds, potions and other weird stuff. There were shelves around the room holding potions. I ran over to the shelf and tipped it over!

"BRING HER HERE! NOW"

I tipped over another shelf. Bottles Crashed to the floor with Glass everywhere. What's happening to me. I'm not like this. I can't control my anger.

"I said NOW!"

Then I took a potion and drank it. The bottle said Nora's formula. Then a blast of cold air hit me and knocked me to the floor.

"Meghan. You know what just happened..... Ynobe's magic. She took power of you."

"What?"

"Don't you remember what you just did."

"OMG I'm so sorry-"

"No worries, it wasnt you. It was Ynobe."

Then I heard an evil chuckle echo through the halls. Cassie shot her wand up in the air and a crack I lightning bolted through the place.

"Don't worry, she's gone. For now."

Sorry I haven't written! I was at camp!
