Chapter 16

I arrived at chorus right on time at 4:15. Alexa isn't in chorus, even though she is a decent singer. To bad to. I could have done a duo with her. But instead I do a duo with Sydney. She is amazing. We sing wings together. We both get solos in the song. Our teacher thinks we do really good at that song. We really bring out the "meaning" in the song. But you know, it is my favorite song, so that helps me sing better. As for Sydney, she already has a voice of an angel. And any song she sings sounds beautiful. She says the same thing about me too. Actually the whole chorus does. That's why we have a duo cause everyone says we have voices of angels. I don't know though, I've never really heard myself sing. And besides, I couldn't ever grow up to become a singer. It would be to much work. And how would I get discovered? What, I would be Harry's amazing singer girlfriend? Ya right. Everyone would hate me cause they would think I was using Harry. I would never use Harry to get fame. Ever. I'm still bummed out Alexa isn't here. She would do a great job. And maybe if she got some singing lessons, she'd be as good as me. Maybe I could ask Harry to give her lessons. Me, Sydney, and Alexa could start a band! How fun-

"Okay chorus members. We have been waiting long enough. Lets start our first song." The teacher Interrupted my thoughts.

We started singing our warm ups.

"Mommy made me mash my m and ms oh darn!"

I sang out loud and clear. Then we moved on to songs. First we sang Mirror by Maroon 5. Then Marry You by Bruno Mars. Then Naturally by Selena Gomez. I love Marry You. I hope when Harry proposes, he sings it. That will be amazing. Ok out of those thoughts, it's time to sing A Capella. You know with out instruments? (( I have no idea how to spell it)) we sing funky town we our hands as our beat. And our feet as the rhythm. We have rehearsed it over and over for our recital. It sounds pretty good. We still need more practice. Anyway we finished funky town and moved on to announcements.

"Okay, as you all know, we have our concert 3 weeks from now, and I expect everyone to be at dress rehearsal next Monday. Also we are going to start competing in competitions for concert choirs you are going to have to try out for this. Ill see you at tryouts on Thursday."

I can't wait! Yay! Concert choir is so much fun! I was in it last year and I can't wait till this year. I should go home to prepare what song I'm gonna sing. Maybe Wings by Little Mix or Forever and Always by Taylor Swift. I should probably call Harry to come pick me up. I dialed his number.

"Hey Harry? I need a ride. Can you pick me up at chorus."

"Sure ill be there in five."

"Great thanks."

Ok, so now I have a ride. I go outside and wait. I take a look at the ground. I can't believe how many people litter. It's DISCUSTING and disturbing. And you're not only hurting the planet, your also hurting yourself. Alright. When I have the time I am gonna create an organization to stop littering!

"Hey babe."

Harry said pulling up

"Hey Harry."

"Wanna come to my house or should I bring you home?"

"Surprise me."

I honestly didnt care. If I was going to mine, I would start the organization. And if I would go to Harry's, I would actually be doing something useful with my life. Turns out we are going to Harry's. yippee. We pulled into the driveway and got out. Harry pulled me into his back yard and sat down on the grass.

"Wow look at those clouds."

I said laying on my back.

"Amazing"

Harry laid down too.

We starred in silence at the clouds. And then suddenly a chill went down me back. I was filled with joy. I looked over at Harry and he looked over at me with. I could see it in his eyes. And he could probably see it in mine. I felt such a pull toward him. I needed to be with him.

"Meghan, did you feel that?"

"Harry, do you feel a pull toward me like you need me?"

"YES"

"I think Mother Nature just told us we are mates."

"What?"

"You know how Alexa and hunter are mates?"

"Yeah."

"I think that just happened with me and you."

He starred at me blankly.

"Well, I do feel as I need you right now. And not until now. Think we really could be mates?"

"Yep"

He leaned into kissed me. It was long passionate kiss. With tongues and everything.when we were over he said

"So since we are mates, do we get to do that?"

"Yep. And one day we are gonna have children."

"Oh gosh, so we can never brake up right?"

"Yep"

"Good I wanna be with you forever."

He leaned into kiss me. Thank The Lord I found my mate.
