Chapter 4

I got home and flopped on my bed, starring up at the ceiling. I hope this day gets better. I decided to go swimming out back in the lake. It's pretty cool we have a lake in our back yard. Anyway, I put on a silver bikini and splashed in. I went about waist deep when I stepped on something hard. I picked it up and saw it was a smooth spiral shell. It was very pretty and sparkly. I brought it up to shore and washes it off in the water. I got a closer look at it. It was a brown and pinkish/red tie dye. I brought it up to the back porch, and set it down. I quickly got a towel and dried off then I went inside to text Alexa.

"hey Alexa, I found a cool shell on the beach. Come over and take a look."

"Can't sorry, wanna come to the woods instead? I have a suprise :)"

It's the boy. Alright I'm going over with the shell too

I grabbed the shell and ran down the long annoying drive way. I circled around the corner than sprinted to the woods where all the "don't exist in modern times" creatures like vampires, werewolf's, fairies, ect hang out. I went deep into the woods where only werewolf's and vampires hang out. Unfortunately I couldn't find Alexa or any hot boys. So I just say down and waited for her to come. After about five minutes I smelt this delicious maple smell. It didnt hit me as mate or anything, but it was a delicious maple smell that any girl could instantly fall in love with. I turn around and see an incredibly handsome guy at the age of 18 years old. Alexa comes out from the woods behind him and says

"Meghan, meet kile, the alpha of my pack."

"OMG is he your mate?"

"No"

Facepalm. That was so stupid. Grrrr

"Oh, we'll did you find your mAte yet?"

"Nah. I'm not one of those girls who are obsessed with that."

"You will be once you find your mate."

"Ok, I should probably show you what I called you here for."

She walked into the woods, I followed her into a part of the woods I've never been into this part of the woods before. It's dark and creepy. And dark, wait were did Alexa go?

"Alexa? Where are you?"

Silence. A big shiver down my back. A loud Howl comes from far off in the woods. Great. Just like the movies. Suddenly a unicorn comes running out in front of me casting a beam of light all though the forest. Then I heard Alexa shout from behind me.

"Like her? I found her in the woods the other day, she's such a good girl. And by the way, I named her Clove."

The unicorn was shining with radiance, an amazing sense of magic washed over me it's like all my happy memories came back.

"Well hop on, we don't got all day."

Alexa and I rode through the woods for what seemed like hours. We saw so many beautiful sights in the woods. Also we got to say hi to Alexa's family. I have no memory of getting home that night though. All I remember is riding on the unicorn and waking up at 9 in the morning. But apparently when I did, it was 3 days later.
