Chapter 46: Stay Away From Her

Braden's pov:

I was walking to lunch when I saw Jaden and Kelly talking. I watched them for a second, but then.. they kissed. Kelly must've kicked Jaden or something because he fell to the ground in pain.

Kelly looked up and saw me. I don't know what to think. But I do know that she didn't want to kiss him.

She runs over to me. "Braden! It's not what it looks like."

"It looks like that dirtbag kissed you and then you kicked him in the nuts because you don't like him. Is that not what happened?" I ask her.

"That's exactly what happened." She takes a huge sigh.

I kiss her forehead. "What were so worried about?"

"I just thought maybe you didn't see it that way. That you thought that I kissed him back."

"No baby girl, I know you didn't. I know Jaden. He'd kiss a pineapple if he could have sex with it."

She laughs.

"I know you stopped him and that you don't like him. It's okay." I laugh. "I'm not mad."

"I love how understanding you are Braden." She stands on her tippy toes and kisses my nose.

"And I love how badass you are." I kiss her lips.

"Badass?" She laughs.

"Yeah. You didn't hold back when you kicked Jaden in the balls, you went right for the kill. That's my girl." I wink and she blushes.

"What do we do with him?" She asks, pointing to Jaden who's still crying on the ground.

"I got this. You go eat." I tell her, not wanting her to see what I'm gonna do.

"Okay." She says, hesitantly, but she disappears back into the cafeteria.

I walk over to Jaden and pick him up by his collar.

"Don't ever go near my Kel-Bel again. Stay away from her, understand me?" I grit my teeth.

"And what if I don't? What are you gonna do about it?" He taunts me.

"If you go near her, I won't just kick your balls, I'll cut them off." I drop him and walk away, leaving him standing there, in shock.

I sit down at our table and pull Kelly close to me.

"What'd you do?" She whispers, not wanting people to hear.

"I handled him. He shouldn't be bothering you anymore." I kiss her cheek and she smiles.

"Thank god. He was starting to scare me with how crazy he's been acting. You know he dumped Stacy?"

I drop my jaw in shock. "Really?"

"Yup he told me right before he kissed me."

"Wow. He really is acting crazy."

Stacy and Jaden were the 'popular' couple. For him to just end it with her is very weird.

Lunch ends and it's time for next period. I say goodbye to Kelly and head to science.

Ding!

Finally, the end of the day! I run to Kelly's locker and hug her from behind. "Hey cutie."

"Hey baby." She says, turning around to kiss me.

"Wanna walk home together?" I ask her.

"Sure." She closes her locker door and takes my hand.

We're about 5 minutes into the walk when Kelly's feet start to hurt.

"I don't why, I guess from running yesterday or something, but my feet kill." She whines.

"Hop on." I say, bending down in front of her.

"Really?" She laughs a little.

"Yeah. You're my princess and you deserve the best."

She smiles and hops onto my back.

I carry her by piggyback all the way home.
