"Why were you talking to Meredith?" Hadley raised a brow.

"She invited us to a party tonight, and we're going." I stated. She rolled her brown eyes. "Whatever. Hey, let's hit Starbucks on the way back to the hotel."

"Why don't you just tell her?" Ed asked his best mate. "Because, it would ruin everything and plus she has a boyfriend." Harry sighed. "So? You're way better than him anyway." Harry smiled.

"Thanks, but I just can't. Maybe one day." Ed frowned. "Alright, I'll talk to you later, Harry." Harry hung up the phone and sighed.

He laid on his bed and stared at the ceiling. Why can't Isla realize that's he's the right guy for her?

"Thank you." I took my vanilla latte and sat down with Hadley. "This is weird. Why would Meredith, out of all people, invite us to her party?" She took a sip of her chocolate chip frappuccino. "Maybe she's just trying to be nice. I mean, we kinda had a rough start."

I tapped away at my phone. "She's evil. I can tell. She flirted with your boyfriend!" Isla gave her best friend a look. "It wasn't intentional and I'm giving her a chance. I'm not quick to judge." Hadley hesistated. "Isla..." I interrupted. "It'll be fine, I promise! Let's go, we can go get manicures and pedicures." Honestly, I wanted to come to this party. I needed to relax. What's the worst that could happen?
