Wirt's POV:

I awoke to Mabel squealing. "What?! What?!" I asked springing to life.

"You guys are cuddling!! Awwwww!"

I blushed profusely. "Yeah, yeah..."

"Hey, Wirt! Are you guys in love?" Greg popped up.

"I-I uh.... Um.." I blushed harder.

Dipper, who was up until then sleeping, opened his eyes. "Mabel? Why are you hovering over us?"

"Scrapbookotunity!" She exclaimed and showed us a picture of us spooning on a digital camera.

"Seriously?" He blushed.

"Yep! I'm going to make a whole page of you guys! I ship you two so hard... Your ship name shall be... Dirt!!"

"Dirt? Is that really the best you could come up with?" He teased her.

"Wipper?" Greg suggested.

That's when my stomach growled.

"Ooh you guys should make waffles!" Mabel acknowledged my growling stomach.

"Yeah!" Greg approved.

"Hmm, waffles do sound good." Dipper agreed. "What do you think, Wirt?"

"Sure!" I was just happy that they are feeding us.

Dipper and I went downstairs into the kitchen as Mabel and Greg went into the living room to watch cartoons.

"Can you spot me?" Dipper asked. He was standing tiptoed on a chair in order to reach a dusty shelf with a waffle maker, a blender, and some ancient looking cook books.

"Sure, but remember I'm clumsy."

"Haha yeah." He swatted at the waffle maker in attempts to get it closer to him.

"Looks like a struggle. Do you need help?" After all, I was about 3 inches taller.

"No I got it!" He grabbed the chord and it came flying towards him. "Duck!" He yelled.

I ducked and started to laugh at the thought of a flying waffle iron.

"I may be a bit clumsy, too." He laughed as the waffle maker clattered to the floor.

"Okay I googled the recipe it calls for: 2 eggs, flour, milk, vegetable oil, white sugar, baking powder, salt, and vanilla extract." I read off as he rummaged through the pantry.

"Um, we have eggs, flour, milk, and salt." Dipper said.

"Oh.." I deflated.

"We'll have to go grocery shopping!"

"Okay, let's make a list!"

I read off the ingredients we needed as Dipper composed a very organized list.

Dipper's POV:

Once we got to the store the only cart left was a cart with a kiddie car attached. "Okay hop in little Wirty." I joked.

"I can't fit in that!" He laughed.

"I dare you."

"I dare you." He challenged me back.

"I dared you first."

"I'm going to get stuck!"

"Haha whatever let's go to the baking aisle." We pushed the cart into the aisle. "Mmmm it smells so good!"

"Like my sweater?" He teased.

"Shut up." I grumbled as my face turned red. "Okay we need vegetable oil, white sugar, baking powder, and vanilla extract."

We started to get things and put them in the cart.

"Okay we got everything." Wirt said putting a bag of white sugar in the cart.

"Alright let's go to the check out line... Uh...."

"What?"

"There's no check out lines open. There are no workers." Now to think of it there were no shoppers, either.

"Is the store even open?"

"I-I don't know.. Um let's put the stuff back and just go to Ihop or something."

"Oh my gosh we broke in! I'm to young to go to jail!" He panicked.

"Shh, no no its okay Wirt. We won't go to jail. We'll just put the stuff away and leave. If we get caught we will just say we didn't know and the door was open."

"Okay, okay." He sighed and calmly placed the items back on the shelves.

After everything was back in order we went back up to the front only to see a work at one of the lines. "Sorry guys I was in the back." A girl that looked about sixteen said.

"Do you still want to make waffles?" I asked Wirt.

"Yeah, but only if you want to."

I didn't. I was so done. I had my sister take pictures of me while I was sleeping, a waffle iron fly at my face, and I thought I broke into a supermarket! "Okay let's go back and get the missing ingredients." I sighed.

We went back and got everything again. As we started to check out the cashier started to talk to Wirt. "I don't think I've seen you here before, I wouldn't have forgotten a handsome face like yours." She said as I turned practically green with envy.

"Uh..." Wirt looked at me with what seemed like a scared face.

"Yeah Wirt here, is from out of town." I rested my head on his shoulders and held his hand interlacing our fingers together.

"Wait, you do look familiar.. I could've sworn we had chemistry." She made another move ignoring our hand holding.

"I uh..." Wirt stammered.

"Or maybe I've seen you in my dreams?"

"What's the total?" I asked enraged.

"$6.18 but I'll pay for it if you promise to go get some coffee sometime."

"Alright that's enough, Wirt, we're leaving." I was fed up.

"Oh, okay."

"So you don't want all this?" The cashier asked.

"No!" I yelled.

We started to turn around and leave. "Wow I can't believe that happened." He said sounding pretty upset.

"Me neither, I knew you were cute but- I mean uh..." I slapped my hand that wasn't holding Wirt's hand over my mouth and looked the other way.

"Y-you think I'm cute?" He blushed.

"I-I..."

He leaned over and kissed my cheek. It was a short little peck but it felt like winning the lottery.

We walked to IHOP hand in hand in silence. "Table for two, please." Never felt so good to say.
