Wirt's POV:

After our 'engagement' feast we continued walking. Very slowly.

"I don't think I've ever been this full." Dipper stated.

"I am so full I can barely move." I agreed.

"Can we take a break and rest?" Dipper begged.

"No, we already wasted to much time getting married."

"We only spent an hour at the tavern." He gestured at his watch.

"An hour is a lot of time when-" I stopped myself before I freaked him out. I wasn't about to tell him we were in a coma.

"When what?"

"W-when you're lost."

"It sucks that we have no connection on our phones..."

"Yeah... It also sucks that people rely so much on their phones these days."

"Yeah... Ugh, can we please take a break?"

"No. We need to keep moving."

He looked at me with big puppy eyes.

"Oh, alright!"

"Whoo hoo! Let's rest by that tree." He exclaimed pointing to a big oak standing all alone in a sunny patch. I sat down at the base and patted my lap to invite him to cuddle. I could see the tiredness in his eyes but the corners of his mouth were turned up slightly.

He sat down on my lap and sunk into my arms, as if he were the missing piece to the puzzle that I was. I wrapped my arms around him pulling him closer and tighter, wanting our puzzle to never come apart. I laid my head on top of his thinking, I really love my missing piece.

Just like that we drifted off to sleep.

Until, "Wirt??" Requested a familiar voice.

"Five more minutes..." I groaned.

"Wirt, what are you doing here?"

"What?" I rubbed my eyes only to see Beatrice.

"What are you doing here?"

"We are trying to get home."

"How did you get here?"

"How should I know?" I sighed.

"I know you have to get home but I was just wondering if you could hang out and stay for dinner?" She sounded hopeful.

"I really wish I could, but-"

"There's always a but..." She sighed.

"I'm sorry I have to get home with all of my puzzle pieces."

"Please, Wirt? I may never see you again." She begged.

"Well... I guess so.."

"Awesome!"

"What about Dipper?" I asked gesturing at him curled up on my lap.

"Who? Oh, well he can come too."

Dipper's POV:

"Dipper, its time to wake up." Wirt gently stroked my hair.

"Why?" I stretched.

"We are going to have dinner with my old friend." He explained.

"I thought we had no time to stop?"

"Well.... Um.. This might be the last time I get to see her."
