"W-what!?" Eren stuttered, completely horrified.

"Are you gay? Do you like boys?" Levi asks bluntly, Hanji wearing a wide grin.

"Why would you ask such a ridiculous question?!" Eren pretended to be offended.

"Well you're reading this manga. I don't know. Just a question. " Levi's answer was diplomatic but he seemed to be dancing around his real question.

"N-no. No I'm not gay." Eren lied.

"Too bad." Levi said quietly.

"Huh?" Eren looked up from the floor.

"Don't worry about it. Thanks for showing me this." Levi began to walk away.

"See you in school!" Hanji cheered as she walked off with him.

"Damn!" He thought. "I was too busy worrying about manga and my silly crush that I didn't even bother to find out if he was cheating with that Hanji girl."

Eren bought the most recent copies of three mangas, one of which was the one who showed to Levi.

The next day at school, he brought that manga and was trying to read it without anyone noticing.

Instead of reading in homeroom he walked over to Jean, Marco and the rest of the group with Armin and Mikasa.

"Jean you usually know everyone's business." He said and Jean smiled proudly, feeling accomplished about this. "So I got news for you." Eren sat down in the chair in front of him and told him all about the encounter with Levi, leaving out the part about the yaoi and the part about Levi asking if he was gay.

"No. Way. That's so insane I need to tell everyone!" Jean was so excited to be the first one to know.

"You can't!" Eren snapped. "I don't want it coming back to me."

"Don't worry Yeager it won't!" Jean didn't sound very reassuring.

Soon the bell rang and Armin and Eren were off to French. When they entered the room, the teacher called him up to the front of the class. He asked quietly "Mr. Yeager, would you still like your seat to be moved?"

Eren thought about it. "No. It is will be okay."

The teacher nodded and sent him back to his seat.

"I thought you wanted to switch seats." Levi turned and spoke to Eren condescendingly, not how he spoke at the book store.

"What?" Eren asked, dumbfounded that Levi even knew.

"Yeah. Heard your whole conversation on Friday." Levi said with attitude.

"Listen I'm sorry. You make me uncomfortable." Eren admitted.

"We need to have a talk after class brat." Levi said this a bit louder, to get a reaction from the class. The teacher raised his eyebrow and looked in their direction as if he was trying to say "Mr. Yeager, you can still change seats if you want." or maybe even "Mr. Ackerman, is that necessary?"

Class ticked on slowly. The pit of anxiety grew in Eren's stomach. He thought he was going to puke all over Levi right there in the front of the classroom.

Finally class was over and Levi dragged Eren out of the room.

"Eren!" Armin yelled running after them.

"It's okay." Eren mouthed at him reassuringly. Armin stopped following and just watched as Levi took him down a sketchy hallway. They took some back hallways to the boys locker room, the only place where they could talk without other people hearing and without cameras.

"I'm sorry I don't know what I did." Eren immediately said.

"I finished the first two volumes." Levi pulled the two mangas he bought yesterday out of his leather bag.

"Huh?" Eren was confused. "I thought you wanted to beat me up or something."

"No no no. I wanted to ask..." For the first time, Eren saw Levi get a bit shy. "Can I borrow the next ones?"
