Not A Chance

For a few moments everything hung there. Eren felt as if time had stopped and his life had ended. He could not believe what his father had done. He was beginning to panic. He couldn't think of the proper words to say.

Finally Eren's mother began to talk "Oh my goodness Grisha! I told you that joke was not funny you know how Eren's girlfriend would feel about that!"

Levi began to awkwardly laugh, along with everyone else.

"Grisha. Mikasa. You'll help me clean up the table." Eren's mother said as the three got up. Eren and Levi say uncomfortably for a few moments.

"Well I better get going." Levi finally said, standing up. "Thank you for dinner. And the books."

"It's no problem. Sorry about everything."

"It's fine. See you in school Yeager." And with that, Levi had left Eren's life. Eren began to think that he would be gone forever.

Eren marched in the kitchen. All he could manage to say was "thanks a lot dad."

Eren ran upstairs and locked himself in his room and laid down to cry. After what seemed like hours later to Eren, someone knocked on his bedroom door.

"Huh?" He said, not really feeling like he wanted to talk. Mikasa walked in and sat on the edge of Eren's bed.

"Why was the boy who beat you up here today?" She asked.

"I told you already." Eren said, sitting up. "He was here to borrow some manga."

"No stupid. Why are you friends with someone who beat you up on the first day of school. How do you just get over something quickly? And why is he even being nice to you in the first place?" Mikasa was getting upset.

"I don't know Mikasa." Eren lied.

"Eren stop lying to me. Do you like that boy?"

"I have a silly crush on him that's all. And now it's gone. I'll never be able to show my face around that boy again."

"Well you shouldn't have fell for the straightest person you could fine Eren." Mikasa rolled her eyes thinking about how ridiculous it would be for the school's star athlete, major popular hottie to be gay.

"It's not my fault. It was a silly crush and it's over. Just leave me alone Mikasa."

Mikasa looked down, wondering if her words were too harsh. But she got up and left the room, leaving the sad Eren alone. He knew any chance of even a friendship with Levi was over.
