Eren sat outside on the front steps of Levi's big house. Tears rushed down his face. At this point the young boy was wishing he had worn a coat because it was well into the night and the weather had been growing colder. He couldn't help but wish the night had never happened. He was waiting for someone to come and take him away.

Marco and Jean were inside, now being as overtly gay as they wanted to. "Everyone's drunk off their ass! No one will remember a thing." Jean reasoned. Marco of course agreed. They were both enjoying being the only coherent people at the party.

Mikasa had joined a third year named Mike in a drinking contest. Somehow the small girl who had never drank in her life won. So while Eren was wishing his life was over, Mikasa was pretending to be friends with all of the creepy upperclassmen guys who were now impressed with her.

Ymir had fallen asleep while holding the unconscious Krista and neither one of them had ever felt more peace.

Sasha and Connie had made friends with a strange group of people who were smoking some miscellaneous substance. They were a bit more used to the party crowd. They often get invited because, even though he rides the bench all season, Connie is a football player.

Armin had also made friends with Erwin, the boy who walked us in. By now he was stoned and spewing nonsense but Armin didn't mind, as long as he was talking to someone with an open mind.

All of his friends were having a wonderful time and Eren was sitting outside, hoping someone would come talk to him. Soon enough, a girl wearing a white hoodie came outside. She pulled her hood up over her head.

"Not having a great night either?" Eren asked.

"No I just hate people." She said coldly.

"Oh." Eren was hoping when someone came outside they would be pleasant.

"I only come so I can see how dumb people act." She added.

"Yeah I don't think I'll ever do something like this again." Eren said. "I'm Eren."

"Annie." The girl said.

Maybe the night wasn't a total bust. Maybe he could make a friend.

"You didn't have to introduce yourself." She said. "I've heard plenty from Petra" she started laughing.

"Wh-what!?" Eren jumped up.

"Calm down kid." Annie said. "She thinks you're gay and she thinks you're trying to turn her boyfriend gay. Funny right?" Annie started laughing.

"Yeah..."

"You aren't gay right?" She started laughing even harder.

"Right." Eren was used to lying.

"Man that's funny shit right there." The girl was strange. The whole experience was only making Eren want to leave more. Unfortunately he had already told his parents he was staying at Jean's tonight, so the unhappy teenager ended up falling asleep on the pompous, popular, start athletes' front porch.
