Erwin's Party

Ymir sat with Erwin who was downing his third beer.

"Ymir aren't you gonna have any drinks?" Erwin asked, gesturing at her with his beer can. "You usually drink me under the table."

Ymir knew that Erwin was talking to her, but all she could think about was what Krista said to her after the game. She was feeling discouraged. She missed her chance to go out with the most beautiful girl she's ever laid eyes on tonight, all cause she was going to a party.

"Erwin I don't really feel like drinking tonight." Ymir said sadly.

"Why not!?" Erwin was so surprised at his friend. Ymir just shook her head, not wanting to talk about it. "Alright I'll change the subject. I saw you talking to that first year Krista tonight. You shoulda invited her she's pretty cute."

"I tried to invite her..." Ymir said, letting her voice be quieter than the music and noise around her. "She said she doesn't like parties."

"Man that's so shitty." He complained.

"Hey guys what's going on?" Reiner asked, slumping down on the couch next to Erwin.

"Ymir was telling me that she tried to invite that cute first year Krista to my party." Erwin answered.

"Where's she at?! She's the hottest girl in Shiganshina! Man when I saw her in her cheer uniform..." Reiner daydreamed about Krista.

"Gross." Ymir scoffed with a bit of jealousy in her voice.

"Hey bro if you're her friend you should try to set her up with me!" Reiner yelled. Ymir rolled her eyes when the next dirty string of words and fantasies came out of his mouth.

"You guys are pigs." Ymir said. She shoved herself out of the large chair and walked outside.

She passed all the couples viciously making out and she hung her head. "What am I doing?" She asked herself as she sat down on the front porch of Erwin's house. "What the hell am I doing!?" She yelled. Before she knew it she began to cry. This wasn't in character for her at all. "God damn you're going soft Ymir." She laughed that she was even talking to herself. But at this point, she was the only person she had. She could hear the noise in the house progressively getting louder.

She hadn't realized how long she had been sitting outside but she glanced at her phone and it was around 2:30 am. Suddenly she heard police sirens and saw flashing lights coming down the street.

"Shit!" She yelled as she ran back into Erwin's house. "Cops! Cops!" She yelled. Everyone began to scatter and yell warnings to their friends.

While everyone was making their way outside Ymir ran out of the back door and hopped the fence into the neighbors yard. She did not face her most graceful moment when she jumped over and she landed in a pile of bushes. "Shit!" She screamed. She panicked even more when she saw a light go on upstairs. Ymir let out another string of curse words.

The back door opened and she heard that sweet sweet voice that was now her savior. "Hello? Is someone there?"
