"so, what was that dream about? like, you don't have to tell me about it if you don't want." Sans says. I tell him about my dream and, I don't know if skeletons can cry, but Sans did. A little. He grabbed my hand. "i'm sorry, y/n." He whispers. I hug him again and I start to cry again. "everything will be alright." He says and he pats my back. "I'm sorry I've been acting so weird around you. It's just.... These dreams." We pull away and I can see a light blue dusted on his cheekbones. "Sans?" I ask. "yes?" He answers. "Do you like me?" No answer. His cheeks flush a darker blue. "Sans, please. Maybe if I could be sure, these dreams would stop." I explain. "be sure?" He asks. I blush. "Y-Yea..." I say. "of course i like you. i just.... didn't think you would like me back..." He says. "I always thought it was too obvious to you." I said. "it was pretty obvious." He chuckled. I blush and look down and realize he had my hand in his. "If you told me sooner-" I say. "yea, you probably wouldn't have had those dreams..." Sans cut in. "No." I started. "I wouldn't have been so weird. Your brother probably thinks I'm so weird now..." I said. "i'm sure he doesn't." Sans said. I place my free hand over his hand. "You didn't have to keep it in." I said. I... kissed?... him on his teeth since he didn't have lips. After a few seconds, I pulled away. "I love you, Sans." I said as I curled up next to him. "i love you too, y/n." He whispered.
No dreams
As I woke up, I realized that Sans was still sleeping. I didn't want to move, so I just snuggled up even more. He put his arm around me. "good morning." He said. "Morning?" I said. "probably." He said, and chuckled. How could I feel his laughter? "SANS! WHERES MY BEDTIME STORY?" I heard Papyrus scream. "Night." I said. I moved over and walked up so Sans could get up and I walked with him up to Papyrus' room. "okay, bro. i'm here." He picked up a small picture book and read it to him.
"and the little rabbit found its way back to the hole." Sans finished and closed the book. Papyrus was fast asleep. "night, bro." Sans said and I followed him out of the room. "Your love for your brother is adorable." I said. "heh, thanks. you're adorable." He said. We walked down the steps. "I'm not tired, you?" I asked him. He shook his head. "what do you wanna do." He said. There's literally nothing to do... Don't say you, don't say you... "I dunno." I shrugged. For a second, the wind stopped. We looked out the window and there was no snow. "it was two... fucking... days..." He said. "Are you fucking serious?" I sighed. "Hey, doesn't Grillby live in his restaurant?" I asked. "i think."
"Isn't that place open 24/7?"
"yea"
"Let's go."
