We were sitting on the plush couch in the penthouse and I couldn't stop shaking I was nervous calm down Serria Opal exclaimed you'll ruin your make up! Finnick chuckled at this statement and wisperd something to Shane and he smirked. Shhh the interviews are starting Sam said. So far so good district 1 Matt got an 9and ruby got a 8 , and district 2 Jack got a 10 and Cassidy got a 9 yes I did a happy dance in my head I'm glad my friends did well but now im going to focus on myself they just finished district 11 and they both got 7 which was decent for a poor district. Shane got a 8 no surprise their then they announced my name Serria Everglade with a score of 11. Everyones jaws dropped and congratulated me while Shane just sat their with a blank expression on his face. Ok everyone now we have to head to the interviews we got in the elevator and I noticed it stopped on the second floor. In walked Cassidy and Jack hey Serria congratulations on the 11 Cassidy said while Jack gave me a hug and whispered in my ear you look beautiful tonight. He kissed my cheek and I could feel my face heat up. I saw Shane just role his eyes. As we exited the elevator we got in order by who was going first to last Ruby was up first she did good at selling what the people want so did Matt then it was Cassidy who had a great interview they asked her about our friendship and her life back home. Then it was Jack .Well Jack  come take a seat mahogany the interviewer said. So hows the capital been treating you? Its been good not much different from home but the view is amazing I love going on the roof top to watch the sunset with a fellow tribute of mine the crowed aww at his statement. Well I need to ask you something are the rumors about you and district four tribute Serria Everglade true. I was watching Jack the whole room went silent he took a deep breath and said yes. The crowed cheered happily and I let out a sigh of relief but I herd Shane just scoff from behind. I try to ignore it and focus on Jack their talking about  his weapon choice  and strategies all right everyone give it up for Jack Cahill. As he came behind the stage I ran up to him and gave him a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. You did amazing thanks Serria he said blushing I hope you do great too he stood next to me in whispers in my ear so does this mean your want to be my girlfriend. I was blushing madly and he chuckled and said I'll take that as a yes.
JACKS POV
I was extremely nervous but I was glad now the world knows how I feel about her and in the games Im going to protect her at all costs even my life if it means she'll live. I give my beautiful girlfriend a kiss on the for head and tell her not to worry as she leaves my side to go on stage how did I get so lucky with her.
SERRIA'S POV
The applause died down as I took my seat and Mahogany asked me her first question. So you and Jack huh umm yeah when he came back stage after words he asked me to be his girlfriend. Awww the crowd said and I said yes then they erupted with cheers. Well what about your district partner and Finnick what do they think about your relationship? Well at first Finnick was pissed but then he was happy for me and was like hey he's bigger use him as a human shield in the arena. Finnick winked at me in approval as the crowed laughed. Aww im sorry to say where out of time but give it up for serria everglade. After the interviews I said goodnight to Jack and he told me to meet him on the roof top at 10:30. When we got into the penthouse I put on my pjs and we had a group meeting. Hey Serria good job out their you killed it Finnick said with pride thanks big bro he raised an eyebrow and smirked. Finnick and I have become close lately and he told me about Shane wanting to come after me so we took him out of the plan and he said that where working with districts 1,2,12 now. We stayed up until 10:25 then Finnick told me he was going to bed and not to spend to much time with Jack tonight.
