At The Tower
Robin ran around the corner, into the main room.
"Guys! Guys! I think I found it!" Robin yelled at the Titans.
"Where is it?" Cyborg asked. Robin pulled out a holographic map and pointed to a seemingly random spot.
"I found a building that had many police reports of Brother Blood making trips to it. It was also suspected of being a medical facility. I think it is our best shot." The Titans nodded in agreement.
"Ok, whats the plan?" Raven asked.
"Isn't odvious," Beast Boy exclaimed, "we bust in there, find (Y/N), and kick some butt."
"It is a little more complex than that." Robin told him as he pressed a button a hologram of the building came up. "This is a hologram of the MAINE. We don't have that much info about it. What we do know that is is very well gaurded with laser cannons and reinforced walls. There is also a large number of soldiers and guards."
"We also have to worry about Scorch." Raven added.
"But we beat him before. Didn't we?" Cyborg said uncertainly.
"I have a feeling that he was holding back last time." Raven told him.
"Let's not focus on him right now. We should start planning." Robin said. The Titans nodded.
The MAINE Facility
Back at the blank room. Back on a gurney. Scorch standing over her, again.
"How do you feel?" He asked
" Well, lets see... I have a evil brother straping me to a gurney, the biggest headache ever and let's see... oh yeah, I'm trapped in a building that every has inhabitants goal to be ruining my life. So, yeah I feel fine." She spat out in a sarcastic voice.
"There's no need to be like that." said Scorch, putting a fake pout on his face.
"So what's next?" (Y/N) asked fearfully, "You gonna make me kill more people for fun?"
"No, no, we already finished the psychological limit testing," Scorch started with smirk, "We are moving on to physical limit and pain endurance." Scorch watched as his sister's eyes filled with fear.
"W-what?" she stammered.
"Before we released you into society, you were pushed to your mental limits. You killed innocents against your will effortlessly. That was the first phase of the tests. Next we will push you to your physical limits while under our control and while you are just you. After that we will interogate you while under our control and then just you again."
"Why do you do this to me? Why am I so special?"
"You are not the only test subject here Lightstorm," (Y/N) eyes widened, "We are testing others. You are special though, we have very few test subjects with powers at all. As for why we are doing this overall project, well that starts way back a long time ago. About 10 years ago, there was a large drop in criminal recruits. There were less and less good new crimanal troops. To this day, nobody knows what made that happen. Anyway, villans couldn't get minions easily. To get new troops, they would kidnap people and use them as slaves. Unfortunatly, these people were not to devoted to villanary practice. Eventually, Slade, Brother Blood, and a few small scientists, banded together to act on a small mind control intiative. Over the years more and more villans heard about this project and gave us funding. The biggest breakthrough though, was when your parents gave you to us. You gave us the base to make a syrum that could control armies of people. You are very important to MAINE. Now, we should go start the tests."
(Y/N) rested her head back on the gurney. She didn't want to run through their hoops. She was tired of being their lab rat.
"I'm afraid you don't have a choice." Scorch said, reading her mind. With that, her rolled her out of the cell and to the gym.
