Ember and Leonardo sat playing a game of cards, trying to plan out an escape. "How many other Star Children are there?" Ember asked quietly.
"I know of at least thirteen. We can only pull this off if it's just us though." He sighed.
"We are not leaving them. If I'm getting out, they're getting out." I raised my voice a little.
"It'll be dangerous."
"You don't know me. My parents were murdered not to far from this mountain. They had an assassin after them. There car didn't just blow up, they were cut up inside of it, there hearts ripped out and brains were put on fire. Every year I hide what I know from my sister, I don't want her to know of the horrors you Earth Borns can do. She goes to school with them everyday. Do not tell me it's dangerous." I become serious, deadly anger in my hushed voice. You could feel the power in my words, there was no choice but in believing them.
"I'm sorry..." He bowed his head.
"So how do we get them all out?"
"It won't be easy... but...."

Torelyn read through the police reports on the death of Ashen Skies and Jocelyn Skies. The outlandish nightmare that had followed them since they left the house was horrid. Torelyn's eyes filled with tears, and began to sob. The wet little droplets, spilling on to the lamented pages. She reached for her cell phone and called Sathe.
It rang once and a gruff voice answered "Hello?"
"Hey Sathe, it's Torelyn... I have some information."
"Oh alright." His voice lightened a little. "go ahead."
"So Ember has a secret office, where she keeps all sorts of records on Star Children and stuff right? Well there is one mountain in particular where lots of people go missing, are kidnapped, and even murdered. It started with her parent's murder." Torelyn paused holding back her tears.
Sathe looked around nervously at the sound of Ember's parents death and swallowed hard. He put the phone back to his ear and asked her to continue.
"So anyway Ember knows they were assassinated and on the bottom of the article she has pledged to kill the person responsible and it's signed in blood. What if the people who got her are the one's who assassinated her parents? Are you up for that challenge? Oh and the mountain is the highest mountain on this map but the name is blotted out, it looks like it's drawn in, Sathe I think she's on the 'Invisible Mountain'.... You have to save her quickly."
"Dimmit! Alright, thanks for the help. Bye." He hung up quickly. He started running towards 'Invisible Mountain'. It was called this because no Earth Born map has it's exact location written correctly except for the Star Children's maps. Earth Borns couldn't see it properly, it would shift in front of them so they think it is just their imagination, it's not. It is the home of some very strange creatures and their magic helps hide it.
Sathe gave up running and teleported right to the base of it. He knew it well, he use to work for people up on this mountain. He started walking up the road. "Dimmit, Ember why you..." His heart seemed heavier almost as if he was walking to his death. "Why did it have to be you girlie?" He talked to him self.

It was now dark out side the full moon shined brightly. Ember was cuddled up in Leonardo's arms as a small mouse, the girl who had been feeding her the two weeks had agreed to help them escape and was asleep on Ember's bed. She would pretend to be Ember, she had a twin no one knew about so it would work out. Leonardo carried her to another room and allowed me to crawl under the door.
