Torelyn dug around Ember's room, slowly removing all of the skulls that decorated the wall. Her heart heavy with grief and loss as she feared the worst had happened. Carefully she placed a foxes skull into a box wrapping it gently. As she looked at the now almost emptied room her tears began to flow. Would Ember ever return? Her mind repeated the question over and over again.
By now all that was left in the room was a handful of memories, then it'd be an empty husk of a former life. Torelyn reached a regretful hand out to grab the photographs, wiping tears away as she placed them in the box. Her hands shaking as she scribbled on the box, 'Ember's Decorations' as she then lifted it and took it out to the garage. She hated seeing Kayla stand in the door looking into the room as she cried, it was as if Kayla couldn't bring herself to enter it. This is why Ember's things had to be cleared out.

The horde of Star Children had regained their strength, from battling the Scarlet Beast. Ember limped leading them, ten more steps and their long march from Birch's prison would be over. Everyone could go down separate paths and be who they wanted to be. The blue headed boy ran ahead making a passage out to the rode like he had to get them underground.
Ember sighed in relief, as she could breathe in the fresh outside air. She began to run towards it her heart over joyed. "WAIT!" Her mind screamed. "When is it ever just this easy?" It warned.
"Easy?! Easy? We just got swallowed alive! I don't think that was easy!" I yelled back to the voice. However, she did have a point. If Birch wanted us so badly how come we got away so easily?
Bella stopped in front of me, "Ember... This is to easy" her voice quiet as she pulled me to the side allowing others to go ahead of us. Nothing happened and I could see there outlines fading into the distance. "Birch never needed them" she whispered as we crept to the tunnel the blue headed boy was still holding open for us.
"Hurry up ladies" he laughed. Something in his voice was off though. My foot barely entered the open space and before I knew it I was stuck, the tunnel had closed on me. Maniacal laughter erupted from his voice, "You really thought that it was Birch collecting all of your kind?! You thought you were running from him?!" His voice echoing threw the cave. "Hell if it wasn't for Bella here I'd have had all of them trapped in here still, but no matter I got my prize." He glared towards Bella.
"Leave her out of this! You got me let her go!" I screamed at him. My leg beginning to tingle as it went numb.
"That's true it'd put her in just as much agony as your sister." A smaller tunnel opened and I could see Bella sprint out of it, she knew what I wanted her to do. As soon as she was out the tunnel closed. "Now that I got you all alone he smiled as a switch blade opened up.
"You did all of this... Just to kill me?" I laughed. "You really are a pathetic thing aren't you."
His knife danced along my neck, "No, I did all this because you're the end to all Star Children."

Sathe had been watching the large group of people, that came out of the ground but he watched Bella the closest as she came out last, running not out of joy but from fear. He jumped out of the tree he was perched in landing in front of her. "Say, what are you running from, young'n?" He put a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"Sathe, Ember's in trouble! I know we've never met but I can see into the future. You have to save her! If she dies we all die!" Bella yelled loudly. Others over heard, and a couple came back to investigate. Lexi landed next to them.
"Where is this Ember?" Lexi asked turning red anger clearly showing on her face.
Bella lifted a finger pointing to where Ember was trapped inside, "Her legs caught and she can't move. Blade has her."
"You left her with Blade?! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" Sathe screamed at Bella. He rushed at the spot where Bella pointed and began to dig as fast as possible. It was to be of no use. "Ember will surely die in there... In the same space her parents did." he whispered.
Kayla punched Sathe's back, "What did you say?!" She yelled at him as he dug.
"Just dig damnit! We've gotta save Ember!" He hadn't heard her approach and didn't care to explain himself, it wasn't the time.
Kayla stared she didn't know if her abilities had surfaced yet but it couldn't hurt to try, right? She placed her hand where Sathe had been digging "GIVE ME MY SISTER!" She screamed at the mountain. It shuttered rocks began to fall and a small tunnel began to open. "NOW DAMNIT!" Her voice harsh and demanding, not even the mountain would dare be in her way. The tunnel opened the rest of the way, Ember's leg was free.
Spinning around quickly, I stared into Blade's eyes. "You don't get your prize today!"
Kayla, Sathe, Lexi, Bella and two others rushed into the tunnel. Blade's eyes widened, as he backed up he turned into a flicker of light teleporting himself away from the angry group before him. "COWARD!" They screamed in unison. Turning to face them I opened my arms embracing them. Their arms around me hugging me tightly.
Kayla held on the longest, squeezing tightly until she realized her hands and arms were becoming wet. "What the?"
Blade had slashed open my back just before he got away, my adrenaline pumping, I couldn't feel the wound. I began to sway back and forth slightly before toppling over and passing out. They began to cry except one, gently he picked me up and started to run me to the hospital asking anyone he saw to call 911.
