Chapter 40

Aquarius POV: Ms. Zodiac Returns
      As I see Pisces falling for Scorpio once again, I realize she's bleeding. I see her clutch her hand as if a thousand knives have cut it open. Scorpio looks at her with dismay and briskly leads her out of the dance. His shirt is literally covered in blood. As they leave, Cap, Cancer, and I are the first to realize the problem. I see the Zodiacs follow them frantically while I hear a loud shriek and a malicious laughter that fills my brain. I feel as if my brain is going to explode as I remember the laugh, it must be from our old principal. Is she hear? And that shrill shriek must have come from Pisces.
        I look at Cancer when the cry rang in my ears and we bolt the hallway together. We sadly follow the trail of blood left by Pisces's hand. When we reach the end of hallway, we rush into Ms. Celestia's office and see that the scar across her hand has spread. I kneel down to her and see that she has become knocked out. I look at Scorpio, who is holding her in his arms, and see that his expression has turned from happiness to pain and sadness. Pisces starts to stir as she opens her brilliant blue eyes. As she opens her eyes, the other signs huddle around us and try to heal her but, they all fail miserably. I hope she'll live through this.
Pisces POV
      I open my eyes once more and see Aqua, Cap, and Cancer huddling around Scorpio and me. I scream as I now realize that my whole arm is cut open by that one little scar. The blood is just flowing from my arm. The pain is unbearable. I hear Scorpio say encouraging words even though he doesn't know what's going to happen. I let out another loud scream as one other signs try to heal me and fail, causing the pain to worsen.
Scorpio POV
      As Pisces lets out another shill cry, I see that her scar is still spreading towards her upper arm and has almost occupied all of it. The pain she's in only makes me feel more horrible because none of the Zodiacs can help her;we can only make it worse. I can't believe that only a few moments ago, I was having the time of my life. I look up from Pisces and see Ms. Celestial come rushing in while speaking clearly over Pisces cries. She says," My sister, your old principal, has come to kill you all. You have to leave Pisces here so that you can stop her from hurting all of you even further. I know it gonna be hard to do but, before you go take these to help you."
       As she finishes she hands us each a golden object of some sort. For example mine is a scorpio dangling from a small black chain. It appears that each sign has their symbol hanging from a black cloth chain. I put Pisces's around her neck as I crash my lips into hers one last time and head out with the others. I can't believe I'm leaving her but, I have to. It's the only way I can help her now. I wish it wasn't the only thing I could do. As I look back, I see a flash of blue light erupt from the office I just left. It blinds me but, I continue forward, hoping that Pisces is okay.
Ms. Celestia POV
      As the other 11 Zodiacs leave, I place my hands on Pisces's head and flow all of my energy into her. Her arm becomes covered in blue light and heals. It only leaves a large scar across her whole arm. Once she has stopped bleeding, she slowly sits up and stares around as if she's looking for something. As I remember where I sent the other signs off to, I hope that the other signs are holding off okay.
Pisces POV
As I look around Ms. Celestia's office, I realize that the other signs have left. I hear cries and rubble fall as I recall my last memory of Scorpio. He's putting this necklace around my neck and kissing my lips with force. I look at Ms. Celestia and harshly
say," Where are they?!"
" Oh sweetie, I don't know exactly. All I know is that they have gone to fight the old principal to protect themselves and you. I'm glad your okay. You really should go and join them," she say with a straight face.
How can she be this calm? I have to help my friends. I suddenly realize that she saved me. I thank her for it as I run out the door. I look ahead only to find a trail of broken glass leading to my faithful friends. I know in my heart that they only left me to protect me. I bolt down the hallway only to notice that the cries are becoming louder and louder. As I reach the end of the hallway, turn to corner, and see the rest of the signs battling Ms. Zodiac, our old principal. They need help. Many of my friends have fallen and are unconscious.
As I look away from their silent bodies, I to see only Cap, Aqua, Scorpio, and Cancer holding up the fight with no resolution. I join them as Ms. Zodiac laughs hysterically. She must enjoy this. Well, she won't when I'm through with her.
Scorpio POV
As I fall to the ground from exhaustion, I see a girl in a blue dress run over to me. I soon realize, by her scar, that it's Pisces. How is she even here and alive? I look at her with astonishment and sit up while she embraces me. I feel a sudden rush of energy as she holds me tighter and tighter. As we part, she blasts, the now enlarged, Ms. Zodiac. Ms. Zodiac isn't affected at all. I truly mean at all. She's still standing where she is and is getting bigger by the minute. I suddenly see Virgo and Taurus arise and come back to help us. After they come back, all the fire signs rise with new found strength and join us once again. The two air signs rise like a strange wind as they join us. We all shoot at her together in one multi-colored light thats covered with the smell of the stormy sea, the power of fire and wind, and the strength of the largest tree. I see her shrink back to her "normal" size as all of us form a small circle above her. We are being lifted up by no human force. It's amazing to see what my fellow Zodiacs and I can accomplish together.
As the light encases her, I feel a powerful connection between my friends. I know that the 12 of us will over come her. A white cloud comes from the light, while I hear a very loud and prolonged no. We come down to the dusty floor as the light and the cloud fade from existence. I see a joyous Pisces run towards. I embrace her with a cheerful expression. I can tell she's about to collapse from all the power and energy she used to stop Ms. Zodiac. But, I know she's past that as I kiss her on her soft pink lips.
As we break away from the kiss, I see Pisces's head snap to the right as Ms. Zodiac emerges from all the rubble over her. She's changed from her old self. Her stature has become smaller and simpler; it resembles Ms. Celestia's. I also notice that Ms. Celestia is coming over with an angry expression on her face. She looks over at her sister as her expression softens. She reaches out her hand as her sister grabs it and they both start to cry in each other's arms. She is forgiven.
       As soon as Pisces reached my grasp, I see all the other signs slowly get up. Aqua comes over to Pisces and hugs her while kissing her cheek. He shouldn't have done that. I walk over to them as Cancer walks over to Pisces and hugs her. I have to trust her when she's away from me. She would never dump me. At least, I hope so. She comes back to me as Ms. Celestia says," Everyone, here is my true sister. The lady you saw before wasn't her. She's kind and loving and she wants forgiveness. Are you willing to give it to her?"
         I look at Pisces as she nods her head in approval. Well, everyone deserves another chance and I am willing to give it.
 
      Hi there. I have good news and bad news. The bad news is I am going back to school and high school entrance exams are this week so I probably won't be posting in a while. The good news is that this story just got -11k-.
