Covers
#1 “Don’t Judge A Book By Its Cover” unfortunately, that’s usually one of the first things we look at.
#1 Having a well-made, presentable cover
Generally having a nice cover intrigues people to look closer at the story. Also, front cover is one of the first things we look at (and gives us our first impression) so if you have a messy, unorganised cover…well, you can guess what that tells us about your story.
#2 Relevant
Whatever is on your cover should be relevant to your story. By this I mean (I can’t think of the word at the moment! Ah!) don’t put something that has nothing to do with your book on the front cover.
It just doesn’t make sense.
#3 Go to the clubs!
In the clubs, there is a club (Multimedia) with tons of different threads, by tons of different people that are willing to make you a cover! So, if you can’t do it yourself – go there and get some help!
