-Super serious line break-
The frosty winds licked at Frisk's hair and tickled her cheeks, but definitely not in a pleasant way. She sure was grateful to her baggy, striped sweater, as it helped conserve heat for her upper body.
Unfortunately, she was also wearing shorts, and short cut boots, so her poor knees were freezing from the direct contact.
The wind whipped at the little red bow in her hair, and she decided to tie it a little harder, just to make sure it didn't fall out or come loose.
"You okay, Frisk?" Flowey questioned.
Despite being a flower, he didn't seem to mind the freezing winds, and if he did, he certainly didn't show it. Maybe it was something about being a monster? Frisk shrugged, it didn't matter much, anyways.
She rapped her closed fist in the air, singing yes. She also nodded, as she remembered that Flowey couldn't really understand her.
"That sign means yes, doesn't it?" Flowey questioned, once more earning a raping of her fist.
Frisk then took her pointer and middle finger, and moved them down to press she thumb, almost as if she was making a mouth opening and closing. She shook her head after showing him the sign.
"That one means no?" He earned yet another fist rap.
"Great! I'm getting the hang of this!" The flower chirped.
Frisk gave him a silent chuckle before patting his head gently. She then turned to survey the new area, seeing multiple pine trees with snow littering the branches. There was a path of patted down snow, with a few sticks and branches laying every which way.
A simple forest path... Or at least she hoped.
The two began to walk down the path, the land around them was so quiet, you could hear a pin drop. Frisk passed by some dead trees, and wondered what could have killed them, and why they were still standing proudly?
She then passes by an extremely large branch. It was black... As if it had been scorched by fire... The branch was about as thick as her arm... Maybe even her leg.
There was no way she would even be able to lift it up. Frisk decided to ignore it, and keep on walking.
She didn't know what she was doing... Where she was going. The human once more felt connected to the path, though. Like she had walked down it multiple times, like she belonged.
She didn't know why she kept moving forward, but she didn't want to die! She may t know how she was, where she came from, but she yearned to move forward.
But not to escape.
Crunch!
Frisk turned around without a seconds notice. There, laying on the thick white blanket of snow, was the crunched up pieces of the stick. The one that was as thick as her leg!
How?
"Uh, Frisk, I think we should get a move on..." Flowey urged worry treading his voice.
