Author's note -
I was planning on releasing this chapter in a few days, but I couldn't resist giving my four readers a Christmas present! :D
So merry Christmas and happy holidays, everyone!
Now buckle up... This is a long one!
---Super serious line break---
'What do I do!? Oh god, what do I do!?' Frisk asked herself as the purple door slid open roughly, as if it had been pried open. 'I need to see the rest of the underground! I can't stop here!'
The human stood her ground, she wouldn't give up this early in her adventure! And there, standing in the passageway, was a body engulfed in shadows. A monster - Toriel, Flowey had stated the name as.
"Why hello there... Child..." They whispered the word, and to Frisk, it felt like venom was oozing off of it, ready to kill her at any second.
The voice seemed feminine, but alas, it was terrifying all the same.
The human girl took a step back. The monster took a step forward, a much larger, menacing step, to be exact. It was clear Frisk had no chance at getting away, there was no way to leave the cave that was behind her, and she couldn't slip past the lumbering monster, it was far too huge! Not like she would know her way around the ruins, even if she did get past Toriel.
"Frisk, you can't let her get you. It would be the end of use. Donezo." Flowey whispered close to her ear, making a shiver run up her spine.
This was a life or death situation.
Down here it's either kill, or be killed!
The voice echoed through Frisk's mind. It sounded much like Flowey's, but with a killer intent mixed into it's sickly sweet tone.
But... It couldn't be... Flowey had never spoken to her like that!
"Frisk, look out!" Flowery screeched, pushing the child out of her thoughts.
A large, white furred, matted paw came swooping down upon her head, and thanks to her flower's warning, Frisk had managed to dodge it. Just barely, but hey, least she hadn't been hurt, right?
Now that the monster was standing in the light, Frisk was able to get a good look at them. It was some type of humanoid-goat monster. With white, grimey, matted fur that looked like it had never been brushed before. Two horns stood atop her head.
A pair of beady red eyes, accompanied by some puffy black baggage, peered down at her as the monster, Toriel, took a step forward. Her torn black robes brushed against the floor ever so slightly with the step.
Frisk gave out a small gasp as the monster came closer, Frisk gulped in fear seeing no way to get out of the predicament. She could move back, make enough space to run around Toriel and into the ruins right?
But she didn't know the ruins at all, and she was guessing Flowey wouldn't be much help either. Besides, the monster would still be able to catch her. A wasted effort, to be sure.
Toriel took another lumbering step forward, making Frisk wish to squeak, but she held silent. The white furry paw loomed over her head, before it quickly snaked down to snatch up Frisk's arm.
"Child, don't you dare try to run from me!" The screeched, pulling on Frisk's arm roughly.
The young human tried to pull her arm free, she struggles, kicked, and grunted. But it was all for not. The monster's grip was far too strong, her paws were far too large for Frisk to escape. Into the ruins, she was dragged.
