A thousand years (Severus X OC)

Preperation

The entire story unless specified is in Alex's POV and btw this is about 2 years before Harry comes to Hogwarts, so like Fred/George time (Btw nothing in this story is mine except the plot and Alex)

I wake up on the first day of Hogwarts for this year, I feel the familiar arms wrapped around my waist, the same its been for the past several years. Severus Snape, my boyfriend.

"Sevy you need to get up we have work today" I said

"I don't wanna" he said snuggling into my side

"Well I'm getting up so you either lose my warmth or get up with me" I said

"Fine!" He groaned and sat up

I walked over to the closet and grabbed some sweat pants because honestly, who wears pants to bed?

Since work doesn't start for about 2 hours I walk downstairs to cook some breakfast because if Severus makes it he'll burn down the house.

I got Severus and I some coffee and toast, I sit it at the table, finish and go upstairs to shower and get ready, I walk up a Severus is coming down, "breakfast is on the table" I kiss his cheek, shower, get dressed, I wear a black skirt, white button up, and a Slytherin tie. I also wear my work robes of course, I do a little bit of eyeliner, mascara, contacts because I usually need glasses but they can be a bother, I curl my long red hair, dying the tips neon blue again, and apply lipgloss. I walk downstairs grab my shoes (black zip up ankle boots) and my bag (much like hermiones in dh)

"Ready to go Severus? We have to be there early because McGonnagall is sick and I have to fill in to show in the first years!" I tell him as he walks in I smile and take his arm.

When we get to Hogwarts I kiss Severus on the cheek and let him walk in while I stand and the entrance, waiting for the first years.

Soon enough I see Hagrid at the dock dropping them off and they start gathering before me.

"Good evening first years, I am Professor Potter and as soon as they are ready for you, I will take you into the ground hall and you will be sorted into a house, the four houses are, Gryffendor, hufflepuff, ravenclaw, and Slytherin, during your years here at Hogwarts, your house is like your family, your triumphs will earn you house points and any rule breaking will lose points, the house with the most house points at the end of the year wins the house cup." I said, "I'll be back to retrieve you shortly" I said swiftly walking away

As I lead the first years into the grand hall I smile at all of my favorite pupils from last year, when we reach the front of the room I call the first name, "Fred Weasley" I gave him an encouraging smile and ushered him up I sat the hat upon his head

"Ah another Weasley... Gryffindor!" I clapped and watched him walk over to the table

"George Weasley!" I called and smiled

"Another Weasley? I suppose you'll be... Gryffindor!"

I continued calling names until the feast was starting, I took my seat between Severus and Dumbledore, ready for today's classes.
