Part 23
Cheryl's Point of View
I watched Kimberley backstage. We were just about to go on stage and perform our first song of the night, but I couldn't take my eyes off of her. She was gorgeous. She still hadn't spoke to me, she didn't even look at me. She hated me, I knew that she did. I had f*cked everything up. It was all my fault. If I was such a stupid coward, then I could be with Kimberley now. Kissing her, cuddling her, holding her...
“You ready?” Nicola asked as she hugged me from the side.
None of the girls knew what was going on, they just knew that things had gotten worse between Kimberley and I. They had asked us both, but none of us had said anything. I don't think the two of us knew what to say. How were we meant to explain what had happened between us?
“Yeah.” I tore my eyes away from Kimberley and started heading on stage to the starting position.
Tonight's show was important. My family were here, and Ashley and his family were here. I had to do my best, I couldn't get distracted by Kimberley. I needed to prove to my family and Ashley's family that everything was fine. Before the show, they all had picked up that something was wrong with me, but I didn't tell them. Just like the girls, I didn't know what I was meant to say to them.
As the music started, I shook my head rid of all the thoughts I had and began singing and dancing along with all the other girls.

Moves Like Jagger. It was the hardest song to perform. It was mine and Kimberley's song. We were the one's who requested it for a joke after all the memories we had with this song. At first, I thought that it would be a great idea to perform the song, but now, after everything that had happened, I was regretting it.
The crowd was screaming, sweat was dripping down all of our foreheads, the music was blaring and adrenaline was pumping. I looked over to Kimberley to find her looking at me. I don't know what happened, but we both ran towards one another, catching each other in our arms. I looked into her eyes and she stared intently back. For a minute, I forgot about the thousands of people that were there and I leaned in, meeting her lips. Her lips moved violently against mine and I smiled before pulling out of the kiss and ran back to my position to perform again.
Everyone had saw us. Ashley. His parents. My mam. My brothers. Ashley's brother. Nadine. Nicola. Sarah. Everyone. I could feel all their stares on Kimberley and I, but I didn't care. It was worth it.

I was confused. We had come off stage after an amazing show and Kimberley ran straight past me, got changed quickly and then ran to the tour bus. The other girls hadn't spoken to me either, they had all done the same so that they could go and make sure Kimberley was okay.
I stood backstage, not really knowing what to do. I felt so alone. I kissed Kimberley in front of everyone, and now she wasn't even speaking to me.
“Cheryl?” I looked to see my mam, Ashley and the rest of our two families walking towards me. I began to feel sick as they got closer. What were they going to say to me? Ashley looked angry, I knew we were going to have a fight. I began to brace myself for it.

“Well pet, it's been good catching up with you, but we better let you go now. We don't want the bus leaving late because of us!” My mam said after we had been speaking for half an hour.
Ashley hadn't spoken a word to me. Everyone else had acted as if nothing had happened between Kimberley and I on stage, but he wouldn't even sit next to me or hold my hand. Everyone had got up to leave, giving me a hug before they did so. Ashley stayed behind, saying that he needed to talk to me about something. I knew what it was about. Everyone did.
“Are you f*cking stupid Cheryl?” Ashley hissed as soon as everyone had gone.
“Excuse me?”
“You heard me! You f*cking embarrassed me in front of my family tonight!”
“It was only a joke, get over it!”
“Get over it? How am I meant to get over it? Do you know how many people are going to take the p”ss out of me because of this?”
“You're being f*cking stupid Ashley!” I shouted as I grew more and more angry at him.
“And you're a f*cking embarrassment to me!” He shouted.
“Well if I'm such an embarrassment, why we even together?”
“What are you trying to say Cheryl?”
“I'm saying that it's over!” I screamed in his face before storming away from him.

"Cheryl, what's wrong?" Nadine asked worriedly as I walked onto the tour bus. All three girls were crowded around Kimberley who had been crying. I could feel her gaze on me, but I couldn't bring myself to look at her. Not yet anyway.
"Nothing is wrong." I stated.
"Chez, you've been crying... something is wrong. You ca-"
"Drop it Nadine." I snapped. "Nothing is wrong!"
I turned to walk to the back of the bus to be away from them all, but I caught Kimberley's eye. She knew. I could tell she did. She knew that I had left him.
