A figure walked among the streets filled with children role-playing, merchants , mages and warriors of all tiers, and even beasts who disguised themselves as humans. He wore a large cloak and hid under his black hood. From the perspective of the onlookers, it had the shape of a young child, but had the aura of a powerful adventurer. Daebzhir had caught the attention of every civilian in his area.
There was nothing that the audience could spectate on, but 3 emerald rings on his small fingers. It gave off a cursed feeling and made the observers take a step back in fear.
The rings were actually 3 of his guardians in disguise. They were able to materialize themselves in the shape of an accursed ring. However, it did not stop a fraction of their power from leaking.
Daebzhir ignored the looks he received from the street that were mixed with fear, admiration, curiosity, and jealousy. He had all experienced these expressions before. Instead, he muttered an annoyed groan under his breath. It was quiet enough so that it could only reach his ears.
"I should have sealed off more of my magic. I overestimated this place."
Daebzhir quickly darted into the next alleyway that he saw. This brought his observers in confusion and they eventually stopped looking for him. He held one of his hands onto his skull earring and spoke a voiceless incantation. The spell slowly caused a dark sphere to envelope around him and only minutes later did it shrink. That was the size of the power that Daebzhir decided to seal off.
He walked out of the alleyway and heard one of his guardians send a telepathic message.
'Master... '
It was Noibor.
'I know. It's about time we confront our pursuers...'
Daebzhir could sense 20 skilled magic casters who were trailing him. The thought of him being exposed did not cross his mind which left the only other possible option, the Morosis Academy.
He did expect this much from them. At least, it was because they probably had suspicions of his admittance. Noibor pulled a few strings for the school to accept them into their league, but a letter of recommendation from the headmaster was not enough to thirst their curiosity.
Daebzhir suddenly remembered the encounter he had with the headmaster a day ago. It was the first thing that he done after departing Hell with his guardians.
Daebzhir had secretly entered the headmaster's mansion and wiped out all of his guards and servants. Of course, to avoid suspicion, he did not kill them, well not all of them. The headmaster had woken up from the racket and furiously stomped out of his room. The first man he saw was his butler and was about to ask him until he saw a terrifying scene before him.
The headmaster's house was wiped out under a minute. The tables were flipped upside down, the chairs were smashed into pieces, the expensive portraits were shredded into no more, and his gorgeous statue was in rubble. What he had found most surprising was that several of his guards were mercilessly destroyed.
"M-monster..."
The headmaster murmured when his butler was severed in half by a strong storm. He looked at the attacker in front of him. It was a young boy with deep black hair and glaring red eyes staring back a him. He wore an extravagant robe with a cloak embroidered with an unfamiliar emblem.
"Y-you! W-who are you?!"
He asked, and pointed his index finger at the boy in accusation. The man could feel a strong wind directed at him. It was as if the wind, a neutral weather, wanted to slaughter him.
