Chapter 20: The Battle Between The Metal and The Ice

(A/n)- This is my first time wrighting a fighting scene. If its bad sorry.

Third person POV.

The battle between ice and metal. Nothing bad can happen. Okay a lot of bad can come from it. Lucy and Gajeel were in a heated battle. During the battle Pantherlily and Sweet arrived at the scene. The trees were broken and had ice all over them. Also Virgo was out trying to catch Gajeel. The forest around them was turning into a battle ground. Both Gajeel and Lucy were getting tired.

Meanwhile ~ with Levy And Natsu

Natsu and Levy was sitting in the hotel room waiting for there partners and the two exceed come. These two had no idea what was happening with them nor what the exceed ran into. Let's start from the beginning of the fight.

(A/n)- the fight will all be on third person Pov.

Lucy looked at Gajeel with serious face. She was waiting for his first move. Gajeel was also waiting for this as well. So they just stood in fighting stance waiting for each other to attack. Lucy started to move slowly toward Gajeel. Cause of the movement Gajeel attacked. "Metal dragon roar!!!" Metal came flying at Lucy. Lucy put an Ice barrier up. "Nice one Bunny Girl" Lucy just smirked and nodded at him. Lucy got in an stance that got Gajeel confused. "Ice Dragon Roar!!!" Gajeel was in shock to do anything about the attack. So the attack hit full on. Cause of Lucy body temperature everything around them started to freeze. Lucy just smirked and gotten ready to attack and so did Gajeel. "I dragon punch" "Metal dragon punch" The punch collided and making a boom. The trees in the area was broken there was ice everywhere and metal also. Cause of the collision both Lucy and Gajeel both went flying back. This made Gajeel laugh. "Bunny girl or no longer a softy." Lucy grinned and was proud to hear that and said "Let's call it a draw for now." Gajeel looked around and nodded with agreement.

Sweet Pov.

Pantherlily and I came in the middle of the battle and everything was destroyed. Everything around them was frozen from Lucy body temperature dropping but there was metal sticking from the ice everywhere. I couldn't believe my eyes cause I never saw Lucy get in a serious fight before. This was just draw for now. I slowly started flying towards Lucy and Pantherlily with Gajeel. I could tell he was looking around and the battle ground. I knew he was shocked by something and I didn't know why. I will ask him about it later. Once I reaches Lucy I smiled and ask "Are you okay?" Lucy looked up at me and smiled and nodded. I grinned knowing the next fight won't be that easy as this one was. The fight between metal and ice. I can't wait for the battle to commence.

Pantherlily Pov.

I was shocked when I saw Lucy fight like that. The Lucy I remember couldn't win or had a match the strength of Gajeel. I could see that Sweet gave me a confused look but I didn't care. This battle had a lot of damage and it was not a actually a big fight. That day is still coming. The fight between ice and metal and maybe fire.

Lucy Pov.

I smiled and walked up to Gajeel. I put my hand for him to shake. He shook my hand and said "Good job Bunny Girl." "Thank you Gajeel. Let's head back to the cottage we are staying in. I bet Natsu and Levy is waiting for us." I told him. He grinned and nodded. We headed back to the cottage. We talked about random things and talked some about dragons. By the time we got was nightfall. We entered the cottage. Natsu and Levy was sleeping at the table. I smiled and went to get a blanket for Natsu. While Gajeel grabbed Levy and went to bed. I gave Natsu a kiss on the forehead and went to bed myself with Sweet.
