Chapter 21: The Night Out

Third person Pov.

Everyone was sleeping soundly. Well almost everyone. You see the two little exceed were up. Sweet was reading a book. While Pantherlily was giving the goo goo eye's.

Pantherlily Pov.

I was looking at Sweet. I love her color of coat. Pink and baby blue goes good with each other. Wait stop thinking like this. Your a fighter not a lover. I was growling at myself for think such of ways. But I couldn't help the blush that came on my face when I heard her giggle. I sighed and thought 'I can't believe I fallen so hard. For someone I just met not even a week ago.' I slowly look behind me and saw smiling at the book. I slowly walked over to her and asked "What you reading?" She looked at me with her pink eyes. "I'm reading Born at Midnight." She answered. I smiled and sit next to her. She smile back and swear I heart skipped a beat or two. I internally groaned to myself. I saw her go back to reading. I look over her shoulder and started reading it with her.

Sweet Pov.

I knew he was reading the book with me. So I slowed my reading pace. I laughed when he finished reading the two pages I was on. It was were Perry was shape shifted into a cat and Kylie thought it was normal cat. Miranda is on of her room mates came out and new who he was. So she asked what sex he was. So Kylie did check and said it was a male. Then Miranda start a curse to get him shift back to normal. Kylie got mad and threw him out. Dela came our in time to see it. She's the second room mate. That's was on the two pages. Well a summary of it. The details make it better. I turned the page and put my book marker in. I closed my book and put it back into Lucy bag. I got up and walked to the window and asked "Do you want to go for a fly?" I saw him turn his face away but still heard a yes.

Pantherlily Pov.

I felt the blush coming up so I turned my head and said "Yes." I heard her open the window and said "Let's go then." I turned around and saw her floating outside the window. I walked over there and gotten my wings out as well. Once we were both flying we were just looking around and have small talk. Then something happened or like someone. We heard someone one yelling "Sweet!!" I looked at Sweet and she looked back and saw another exceed. This exceed was Christmas coloured. He looked alot like Happy but manly green and red where Happy lighter blue was. Once he reached us he hugged Sweet. I felt anger boil inside of me. "Who are you?" I asked with some bitterness in my voice. The boy looked at me and said "Oh I'm X."

X Pov.

I was walking with my buddy when I saw two exceed. I recognize one of them. I grinned and flew after them. I yelled " Sweet!" I watched Sweet and the other exceed turned around. I hugged Sweet. While I was hugging Sweet the other exceed the others exceed asked me something. I hold in my laughter cause I hear the bitterness in his voice. I laughed and answered his question. I was about to tease him when Sweet interrupted. "X what are you doing here?" She asked. "My buddy and I is passing through. I thought to say hi before we leave." I answered her. I grinned when I saw the black exceed glare at me. I couldn't help but chuckle at him. "Well I better get going." I flew off before they could say anything.

Sweet Pov.

I watched X fly off. I sighed annoyed by him. I looked over at Pantherlily. I saw him not happy. I was about to say something when he said "Let's head back." He just flew away back to the home we were staying in. I followed him silently. I tried talking to him but he kept giving me short answers or just not answer. I felt my heart squeeze when he did this. When we got back I watched him go straight to his spot next Gajeel and Levy. I felt my eyes get watery. I slowly head back to my spot and layed down next to Lucy. Once I got comfortable I noticed pink hair in the bed as well. I looked over and saw Natsu. I small grin came to my face. The last thing I thought 'At least they are happy.' Then I fell asleep with a aching heart.

Pantherlily Pov.

I was really upset. I didn't understand what I felt. So I made us come back and I basically ignored her. When we got back I went straight to my bed. I felt guilty but at the same time I wasn't. Who was this X guy. His name sounds like a villain. I couldn't even focus correctly on this and it wouldn't leave my mind. While I thought of this I slowly went to sleep.

~mean while~

???? Pov.

I was waiting for my exceed. All I knew we were walking well he was flying, but any who next thing I knew he flew off. I sighed knowing him went to flirt. I started looking at the stars and grinned when I remember my mom showing me the different stars. I smile sadly when I remember that I left her alone. No I didn't. She with her mate. Shes not alone. "What are you thinking about?" I heard. This made me jump and turn around. "X don't scare me." I said. I watched him chuckle and replied with "Yes sir." He finished it with a mocking salute. I grind and said "Lets get going." I then see X nod and followed me.

(A/n)- Yes I finally had an idea for this story. I am also thinking of changing the name and summary for this book. This title and summary doesn't make sense. I sadly went off plot and went another direction but Im glad I did. I love how it's turning out. If you have an suggestion for a title leave a comment. Also I'm going to decide on a ship name for Sweet and Pantherlily. I want you guys to vote for it.
