she pulled her phone out of her back pocket and turned it on to check the time. what? 1:15? the bus should've been here 15 minutes ago. she huffed out a long sigh, creating a big, visible cloud in front of her. ross watched her and fought back a smile. she was so beautiful to him.
"i guess i'll have to get home another way," she muttered, though it was barely audible. she shot a glance at ross and waved a small goodbye before turning around to walk away. ross shut his eyes and took a deep breath. he couldn't let her get out of his reach, not again."wait." he reached forward and grabbed her wrist, forcing her to a stop. what he did next surprised them both.
he cupped her face in his hands and slammed his lips into hers. he kissed her so hard, in fact, her mouth actually hurt because of the force he had put into it. immediately their mouths started moving in sync with each other, as if they were never separated in the first place. as if they hadn't fought. as if she didn't pack her bags and leave him. as if they hadn't been away from each other for a year.
she pulled away suddenly, leaning forward and resting her forehead on his, noses barely touching. "i still want you, ross. i want you. i haven't stopped wanting you."
his stomach fluttered at her words, and so did hers. her breath was hot on his face and he closed his eyes when she told him things he had wanted to hear from her, for so long.
"oh yeah? well i need you."
