Ryan
I don't know why I'm chasing the biggest dragon I've ever seen, but I can't let Kaylie go. She means something to me, and letting her go this easy would be devastating. I reached out for her and watched the beast open it's mouth, leaning for her head.

“I don't see why I have to train her. Nobody trained me. It isn't fair.” Ryan pulled on dark jeans and a loose gray t-shirt.
Training her is the right thing Ryan. Life has chosen her for this destiny, and it wasn't right for you to be left out from being taught. Don't leave her out either. Grace approached my window and stared at me. Her huge dragon head took up the whole window.
I shook my head and looked in the mirror, nerves taking control of my stomach. My sandy blonde hair spilled into my face and covered half of my eyes. I tucked it back, looking at the greens of my eyes swirl with nerves. I sighed and stared at the man in the mirror, who was mocking me.
I turned to Grace, “Ready to go?” Grace carefully pulled her head from my window. Arching her back, she dropped her head and pressed up against the side of the house. I've never forgotten the first time she did that.

Grace bowed her head, her back arching to the edge of my window.
“What are you doing?” I watched her in confusion.
Climb on, I watched her peek at me and nod her huge head. I glanced at her whole, deep turquoise body and sighed.
“Fine.” I climbed on and nearly screamed when she took off in flight.

Coming? Grace whispered in my head. I blinked, startled out of the memory. Climbing out the window, I got onto her back. I grabbed hold of the reins I made for her, attached tightly to her mouth and neck much like a horse bit, as she took off. I closed my eyes against the rush of wind and pictured the girl I was going to train. I've never seen her, only Grace, but she sounds amazing. I don't want to admit it but she sounds really exciting. I just don't want to teach her about these things. It's dangerous knowing about dragons and other mythical creatures that exist.
A soft swoosh, along with a softer jolt, let me know we arrived, landing safely. I opened my eyes, pushing my wind blown hair back, and climbed off Grace's back.
The little baby blue house in front of me was dark. Not a light on in the house. I almost asked Grace why, but I glanced at my watch. 1:30 am. I looked up at Grace and took in her beauty once more. She was huge, a few stories high I believe, with a beautifully deep turquoise color body. It's amazing to look at, but scared me the first time I'd truly seen her.
She is sleeping. Ring her doorbell and see if she answers. I will hide out here for now. Come back if she does not answer. Grace balled up and disappeared from my sight. A great thing about being a rider, you can see a dragon. A thing that sucks about being half human; they can hide from you.
I walked around and up to the front of her house. I tried to be as quiet as possible. I rang the doorbell and looked around, nerves once again taking over. When no one answered, I rang the bell again. Just when I thought no one would answer, a girl opened the door.
Well, time for nothing.
