The konoha ninjas were just walking around to familiarize themselves with the surroundings when they heard a loud shout followed by a laugh. Naruto was sitting on the ground, completely drenched. One of the boys were frozen in the middle of hand signs. The other two were rolling around on the ground laughing, Naruto seem to have taken advantage to that as he attacked them and they barely dodged. Naruto fired a fireball at them, the first boy that had frozen in the middle of doing hand signs jumped in front of his teammates to do water jutsu, in hopes it would stop the attack. Naruto was pleased that they were protecting each other. The place fogged up when the two Jutsus connected. Naruto swung the fan Temari had gave him to clear the fog, then twisted to block the Kunais throw at him.
"Keep your eyes open!" Naruto snapped as he charged at his team for a close combat attack but decided against it when he thought about something else instead, swinging the fan to create a huge gust of wind to disrupt their vision and they instinctively shut their eyes because of the sand and before when he had charged at them for a taijutsu contact. "But the sand sensei!" Hakura pleaded for guidance.
"I taught you, if you can't see what do you do?" The teens had already taken their formation of being back to back instinctively whilst shielding their eyes. The answer seems to hit them as they covered their mouth and nose with the scarf they wear around their necks, keeping their eyes closed. If their sight and scent was disrupted, they needed all the help from their hands, relying solely on their hearing and sensory skills. Hakura put up a genjutsu as strong as she could without wasting too much chakra. She knows the jutsu wouldn't work on her sensei but he would have known that she did it and commended her for her good thinking because the best defense is a good offense. That's what their sensei has said so they were just applying.
Katsu blocked a Kunai that was sent sailing their way. Akara suddenly thought of the big shell like thing that allowed nothing to penetrate it, that Naruto had hinted for them to bring around. It was for cases like this - sandstorms. He whipped out the scroll that he sealed it in, Naruto had taught them a simple storage jutsu. Akara allowed the thing to cover over them as he dragged both his comrades down to prevent getting hit by the shell. "Kuchiyosen?" Hakura whispered quietly, knowing her team would understood what she was planning. The two nodded and waited for the wind to die down before flinging the shell away, already almost through with their hand seals to the summoning jutsu. Naruto inwardly smirked at their quick thinking. Everyone paused in their fight stances, just looking at each other. Naruto relaxed the stance and his students slowly relaxed along with the animals. The animals were unwilling to attack Naruto and he could feel it, that why he stopped. It was just training them to know how to react, they aren't trying to win. "Good job guys." Naruto praised as he kept his weapon. The team tensed, they know the younger teen was planning something. Naruto suddenly disappeared and appeared in front of Hakura, a punch already coming her way. He never hesitate in attack, no matter the gender. He does hold back about 95%+ of his powers/abilities but he is never about not hitting girls. People always thought that girls are weak and poses no threat, that's always the mistake. You should always train girls to be as strong as their teammates so it would catch enemies off guard when girls attack them. Attacking the girl could always be a good idea because their teammates would instinctively try to protect each other, especially the girls. Naruto can then finish them all in a few blows because he had them all in his line of vision and range and it is much easier.
Naruto had to praise his team when Akara and Katsu and flanked out around him instead of try help their teammate. They knew the girl could hold her own side of the battle whilst the other two tried to make him as distracted as possible so one of them could deal the finishing blow. Their sensei had engaged them in a taijutsu battle but that doesn't mean their sensei wouldn't suddenly use an elemental jutsu. Naruto drew out his sword and changed course to charge at Katsu and Akara. He swiped at them sloppily but still rather firmly. Katsu blocked the attack whilst Akara unsealed a longer weapon. A short sword. He had been quite fond of it as Naruto had seen him eying it so he bought it for Akara and trained him about how to use it. He was still a beginner but the limited skill will have to do. Naruto had told him to develop a style of his own as the enemies wouldn't be able to predict it, what he taught would just be a starting point.
Akara then charged forward to take over the fight as Katsu fell back to join Hakura to make distractions to find an opening. The three noticed a change in Naruto's behaviour. "I'm needed by the Kazekage." Naruto stated and his students immediately stopped and nodded at him to tell him they know what to do. Naruto gave them a small smile, eyes glistening with approval before he disappeared.
"Sensei smiled at us." Hakura whispered in slight shock. The three grinned at each other before they took a quick water break and continued with their training.
"Those kids are amazing." Sakura gushed.
"We are so not losing to them! Let's go train!" Kiba exclaimed, dragging Hinata and Shino away to find a place to train.
