Silent genius

Chapter 30

The Konoha nins were all heading back to Konoha when they sensed a small group of ninjas behind them. They all prepared for an act but the small group had just walked straight past them and kept talking to each other like they didn't notice the Konoha ninjas. "Isn't that Naruto's team?" The team was a little bit ruffled up and dirty, a sign that they had fought something before. They were discussing their training mission, all holding the scrolls and studying them with each other. They only had about one hour to complete it and find the supposed charm that they have no idea what it was. "Oh my kami! I got it!" They heard the always coolheaded male exclaim as he looked up at the rest of his teammates, grinning from ear to ear. "The charm is Naruto sensei himself!"
"Huh?" The ever so intelligent answer from the other two.
"Look, the scroll says, 'the charm himself is treasured by many but not all sees the beauty'." Katsu explained, flipping the scroll so the others could see. "The charm is suppose to be an 'it' but sensei wrote 'himself'. Which meant the charm is a human, a male to be exact. Then the next line says, 'the charm changed many lives but was thrown away after their own purpose has been fulfilled. Many other countries fought for the charm to be on their soil but the hometown of the charm had chose to throw away their own saviour.' One thing I can think about is he convinced the fifth hokage to take up the seat which saved the village before he had left because the villagers didn't like him. He changed the life of the sand village! Our Kazekage, he saved our kage from the depression he fell into. The spring country and wave village too.
'The charm was blamed and accused of the bad luck that had befallen on the village the charm had resided in. The village drove the charm to his breaking point.' This proves everything! Hakura!"
"Already on it." The female said, smirking as she focused her chakra to pan out to her surroundings, looking for their sensei as they know he would be following them and is nearby. She frowned when she looked over to where she felt the chakra. It was resting on one of the branches of that tree but there was nothing there. "There's nothing there." Hakura asked, confused.
"Don't worry." Katsu said as he chucked two kunai in the direction. A blur jumped away as the kunai thunked harmlessly into the tree.
"There he is." Katsu declared.
"Where?" A voice from behind them deadpanned, making them jump. "Right where we want him!" The three chuunins exclaimed as their sensei was jumped on by the real them, the ones that had been scared poofed away into a cloud of smoke.
"We found the charm sensei."
"Yes you did. Now then. For our mission, we are going to the spring country."
"Yayyyy! Do we get to meet the princess you saved?! Are you gonna marry the princess?!" Naruto twitched. He thought he made it clear he was asexual. He isn't sexually attracted to either gender for kami's sake but that doesn't mean he isn't going to like anyone... But that's gonna be for another time.
"We are meeting the princess and no I am NOT marrying her. She is already married. We are merely going to protect her as she travel across the world for various reasons."
"So it's long term?"
"I thought I told you to pack for long term." Naruto pointed out and his students grinned at him and pulled out a scroll each. Naruto smiled at them, proud. They mastered the storage seal.
They are going to grow up to be so strong.
This proves it.
We have lost a genius... Albeit he had stayed silent about it.
He is going to change the world for the better.
Him and his students...
We should never have underestimated him, it was all an act and we were fooled by his act of stupidity.
He is so smart, fooling people by acting stupid.
This shows never ever underestimate or judge anyone based on their appearance or actions.
It could all be an act and it will come back to bite you if you have treated someone badly.
Karma will always treat people the way they have treated each other.
