"Baka! You're late!" Sakura screeched at him when he arrived at their meeting place 5 hours late. Naruto just mumbled something about pathetic fangirls that has nothing up their sleeves and is gonna get themselves killed before they can use that big brain of theirs.
"Yo! Sorry I'm late. I saw an old lady in trouble so I helped her with her groceries up the mountain."
"Liar!" Sakura and Naruto shouted in sync, and Sasuke just did his usual Uchiha 'hn'. Kakashi rubbed the back of his neck and then straighten. "We have a mission today. Let's go." Kakashi said and they all proceeded to the hokage tower.
What do you think the mission would be? Naruto asked Kurama. I don't know... Some D-ranked mission. A lame one is all I know. Kurama replied, bored.

"That was one boring mission." Naruto grumbled. This is what? Their 30th D-ranked mission and the hokage is still not willing to give them a C-ranked mission.
"Come on old man! Give us better mission!" Naruto whined. "Naruto! Be respectful to the hokage!" Sakura shouted and hit him over the head. "Owwww. That hurt, Sakura-chan!" Naruto pouted and rubbed his head. Kurama... Naruto said sadly to him. What's wrong kit? Kurama asked worriedly. I don't know much longer I can keep up with this. Naruto said to Kurama and cried internally to him. Don't cry. We'll figure something out. I promise. Kit, don't cry. Kurama said as he pulled Naruto closer and pressed him against his fur to comfort him. Naruto had opened up the seal and changed the landscape of the place so it isn't a sewer so that he can rest well and be comfortable.
"Alright then. I'll give you guys a simple C-ranked mission. Protect a bridge builder and bring him back to his home safely. Send Tazuna in." Sandaime ordered. A drunk man swayed in and leaned against the door frame. "This is the team that is protecting me? That short obnoxious brat. He looks nothing like a ninja."
"Haha. Who's that obnox- hey!" Naruto exclaimed as he launched at Tazuna. Kakashi held him back. "You aren't suppose to kill the person you're suppose to protect," Kakashi said," well Tazuna I'm Kakashi and I'm a jounin."
Stupid. Kurama grumbled.

Naruto can hear Sakura chatting with Tazuna at his home. They have arrived after encountering the Demon Brothers, which revealed that this mission was in fact an A-ranked mission. Then they were almost killed by Zabuza momochi, Demon of the hidden mist but Naruto somehow manage to kill Zabuza.
"Hahahahahah!" Sakura was on the tree, that she manage to climb using chakra, laughing her head off. "You can't even *ha* perform *ha* such a simple exercise." Sakura said in between her laughs. Naruto's mouth twitched. He was getting more and more upset. Hey kit. Hang in there. We'll think of something. Don't cry. Kurama comforted Naruto as he watch Kakashi tell them he was heading back. Sasuke and Sakura left with Kakashi.
What would you do? Naruto asked Kurama as he sat down after climbing up the tallest tree easily using chakra.
