Angry Shark [Rei x Reader]

Note: Rei, Nagisa, Gou and Reader are all in their Third Year at Iwatobi

"Rin, you need to calm down..." Gou warned, walking towards the agitated shark, who was currently having an intense argument with Gou's non-identical twin, Y/N.

"Rin, she can do whatever she wants!" A 3rd year Nagisa protested, grabbing Rin, who immediately lunged at him briefly, Nagisa was pulled back by multiple second-years

"Stay out of this, Nagisa! For the last time Y/N, I said no! You're coming back to Samezuka with me and you aren't seeing Ryugazaki again!" Her brother growled, grasping her wrist and pulling her away from Iwatobi, and her boyfriend of 2 years, Rei. He caught them kissing briefly, while the boys were practicing and, it had sort of spiralled from there. She tore her wrist away from him and screamed at the male.

"Matsuoka Rin, you listen to me right now!" She cried out, making everyone fall silent. Rin froze, he spun on his heel. Tears were threatening to fall, but she stood her ground.

'I love him'

"I'm not a kid anymore, so cut it out! It's not like I'm three!"

'He loves me'

"I'm 17! I can love who I want without having to get fucking permission"

Rin winced at the harsh words, Rei was in awe

"I've been dating Rei for 2 years! I don't waltz in when you're with Sou and drag you away!"

His hands clenched into fists, "It's different with me and hi-" He started, getting cut off.

"HOW IS IT ANY FUCKING DIFFERENT?!" She screamed, silencing the entire swim club again and taking Rin aback

"IT'S LOVE, ISN'T IT?!" Her voice crackled slightly with the oncoming tears

She breathed in deeply, and out again, her eyes closed and knuckles turning white in anger. She choked back her tears and spoke

"You were always the one to say. Go where your heart leads you Y/N, and don't let anyone stop you on your journey. My heart took me to Rei, and sorry, but I'm not going to let you stop me" Her voice was shaky and her throat ached from screaming.

Rin closed his mouth. He turned to Rei, who was walking towards Y/N, ignoring the whispers of the first and second year swimmers, Nagisa quickly shut them all up.

"You better take care of my sister, Captain Ryugazaki" Rin growled, stalking away, Gou reached out to touch her sisters shoulder, but it was slapped away lightly, the (H/C)-haired girl quietly excused herself with a bow.

"Everyone, continue training. Nagisa, you're in charge 'til I get back" Rei ordered calmly, grabbing his jacket and running after her.

Wandering around the club building, calling for Y/N, he heard a thud. Rei looked up onto the roof and, perched up there, was the littlest Matsuoka. Rei sighed, making his way to a nearby tree and preparing to jump up. He latched onto a branch and swung himself up, crawling across the branch to the roof.

"Hey" He whispered, brushing a strand of (H/C) hair out of her face, he gently placed a soft kiss on her tear stained cheek. "Don't cry" Y/N glared at the male, before sniffling slightly and wiping her eyes with her sleeves. "I'm a Matsuoka, we don't cry"

"Unless you're Rin and you're watching Toy Story" Rei remarked, making a small giggle escape Y/N's lips. There was a comfortable silence as they sat on the roof, wrapped in each other's embrace

"So...Rin and Sousuke? That's a thing?"
