The proximity of our bodies being so close, it never felt so real to me. I know I had a lot of tough moments with this thing but keeping quiet in a bookstore, was a bit of a challenge since someone might hear us here.

His hot breath fanned on my neck as I tried not to make any strange sounds that might alarm someone that we were here.

Guards? There weren't any of them here but cameras? They were all over the damn place. I mean, bookstores? Who would steal a book? You can steal only one but who steals tons of it? Though I am known as an addictive reader myself, I wouldn't do such a damn thing.

I swear we could get in trouble because of this.

"Ava." His voice was as soft as he would ever try to make. I wipe off the sweat that was streaming down my forehead, as I did it slowly as possible. Our eyes never left in contact with each other.

"Yeah?" I whisper back to him, knowing that he wouldn't talk back without him hearing an answer from me.

"Are you scared?" He asks as I try not to make it obvious. Yes, of course, I was afraid to go to jail because of this. But I didn't want to show him I'm weak.

"No," was all I could answer back. After being locked up in a mall, who wouldn't be afraid?

"Why are you shaking? I knew this was a bad idea.." He says as I see his worried face, "I'm sorry about this-"

"It wasn't your fault." I answer him, as he ran a hand through his hair. I thought I would be scared all night long but I wasn't actually, I was feeling a bit happy I was stuck here with him. And somehow he should know that.

"If we somehow get caught, I need you to promise me something." He said as my brows furrowed in confusion.

"What do you mean-" I didn't actually quite got along with what he said.

"I mean, if something really bad would happen, I want you to know I'm sorry. And that I love--"

"Who's there? I can hear your voices." A manly voice had spoken up, jolting us from our position at the employees' spacious closet (which by the way wasn't that spacious, you couldn't even fit four people in it) and freezing our asses off until the random person goes away.

"I'm coming in." The last words he said as we heard his footsteps coming closer.

Oh fucking hell.

That was it actually. I apologize if its freaking short but I hope you would like it.
