Chapter 8

We held with each other. Ash with Eryn, Autumn and Xav, and Harry held me. I wasn't scared but I was definitely shocked. It wasn't actually that serious but to be honest, it made us all baffled. It was dark but others had flashlights using their phones, so it was a bit help for all of us. Eryn stood next to a table, as we heard her and Ash giggle about a silly joke they heard earlier.

''Okay, I think we should call it a night,'' a little tipsy but I could still speak, and stand, for that matter. Harry agreed and so did the others, so he held me the whole time as we walked out of that place. We sure as hell had a great time and I really did enjoy it.

We walked down the streets, singing random songs that popped in our heads. Harry's arm rested on me as we walk together. I see Autumn and Xav getting all lovey dovey, as well as Ash and Eryn. 

''Ava.'' I hear Harry's voice as I look up to him, our face inches away from each other.

''Yeah,'' I answered.

''You're really pretty,'' I laughed at his silly comment and like a sudden signal came here and there, I felt his body lean on me, his eyes almost closing. And we both fell to the ground. The others laughed first, and then helped us both, and laughed again. I didn't let go of him. His eyes were still open but I guess he wasn't aware of what's happening anymore. We already arrived back to the apartment, and yes, we took the lift. Autumn, Xav, Eryn and Ash went to their place safely while I took care of Harry.  I opened up the door as I took Harry straight to his room. He groaned and groaned until I heard my name.

''Ava?'' with his raspy voice, he said.

''Yes, Harry?''

''It's hot..'' he said as he tried taking off his shirt. So I took off his clothes and changed it to new ones which I got in his closet.

''You remember when you went out with Autumn and Eryn? That night-'' a bit slurred but I could still understand.

''Yeah, why?''

''I saved you that night, you were screaming for help remember? I can't even look at you that night, I want you safe always, okay?'' and that's when I felt like I was important in this world, and special. I hugged him, as long as I remembered. And it was a bit longer than expected. 

''Thanks, Harry. It really meant a lot.'' I said as his hand rested on my hair and kept going up and down in a very relaxing way. We stayed there for ages and it wasn't awkward when we pulled away, it was the good kind of silence.

''You need some rest now, and I think I need one too,'' I said as I yawned. He then yawned back.

''Okay.'' and I walked to the door and said goodnight. As I turned around, I heard his voice again.

''Wait,'' he said as I walked back to his room.

''Yeah?''

''Will you stay with me tonight?'' his question randomly repeated in my head. I didn't know what to say but maybe this is his way of making friends or such and I didn't want to say no.

''Of course, Harry.'' And so I made my way up to his bed and stayed there with him. I felt his hands roam around and I'm guessing he wants me a bit closer.

''I don't bite, you know?''

''Right,'' so I moved closer to him as he pulled me in. His grip was a bit tight but a bit relaxing.

''This is how I want you close to me everyday..''

''This close?'' I giggled as he giggled back and we stayed like that for so long, our conversation never ended. We talked about why I chose writing, and when he started playing instruments, and the silliest things you could even think about. I never knew he could be this comfortable to talk to, how approachable he really is, and how I managed to be with him in a good mood.

''Ava?'' he says one last time, I guess.

''Yes?''

''Goodnight..''

''Goodnight, Harry.'' and we went into a deep slumber.
