Harry and I walked out of our apartment and headed straight to the stairs.

"Wait, where are you going?" Sarcasm in his voice.

"uhm, downstairs," my answer turned out to be more of a question to be honest.

"Use the elevator." He demanded as I looked at him straight.

"Oh no, its fine. You can just take the lift and I'll take-"

"You'll go with me," he said as my eyes widen at his demand.

"Okay," I calmly said as we enter the lift. We stood there like zombies, like nothing was important to be said or even talked about. It was a silence no one would dare survive except for me because I grew up being the silent person I am, Margo knew that.

He sighed in exhaustion. I knew this wasn't a great idea.

"So what are you doing here? In Portland?"

"Did I invite you to talk to me?" He harshly said as I only shut my mouth afterwards. Shit. Not a good idea. Finally, we made it down at the lobby, where we all met not too long ago. We got out as I checked my phone to see where the nearest grocery store was, and it was only a bus trip long.

Within fifteen minutes, we both made it to the store as we both enter the place. It wasn't that crowded, I'd give it that. And it was a bit massive for me so I guess it'll do. I got my cart as Harry insisted on handling it. So I gave it without any hesitation, I didn't want to have another argument.

I picked out some chips for the both of us as he agreed on most of it. I took some fruits as well. We got to the sweets aisle and I must say it looked like I was in heaven. It all felt real, to be dramatic. I took some chocolate bars as I saw Harry get some as well.

"Thanks for coming with me," I said, out of the blue, as I slapped myself on the inside for even speaking to him.

"Yeah," he responds. He actually said something right. I mean, we're just starting so why not just go with the flow.

We both paid for everything as we walked out and went straight home. We rode the lift as he kept on humming a familiar song I once heard on Margo's phone recently.

"Is that bloodstream?" I asked as he looked at me.

"Yeah, you know him?"

"I'm a sheerio, yeah." I laughed as he nodded in quite amusement.

"I guess we won't be having any problems at our taste in music?"

"I guess so." I snorted.

He just stared blankly at me and within a minute he was back. "I guess you don't have any problems regarding me anymore, right?"

"I'm fine now, but-"

"Fantastic." He sarcastically said.

"Thank y-" the door was already closed before I could even say thank you to him. Back at it again, Harry. I sighed.

After about twenty minutes in the shower, I gladly changed into my outfit for the night. Apparently, Eryn and Autumn planned a girls night out tonight and I'm literally nervous but excited at the same time, so I guess it'll end up good somehow. I went out of my room as I saw Harry watching tv. I looked at myself at the mirror as I hung out with him a little more because I was fifteen minutes early. He then saw me all dressed up.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"just a night out with Eryn and Aut-"

"You just met them. And now you're hanging out with them," his sentence woke me up a bit.

"well, I'm - its just a night out you know? Just a little chat and then we go home."

"What if something happens to you?"

I was literally taken aback by that. Or he's just concerned or something but how? He's never been nice to me since we met each other actually.

"Why do you care?"

"I don't give a flying fuck about you. I'm just cur--just leave. And just have fun or whatever." Ouch, that hurt, again.

"okay," so I did.

After about two hours of laughter, we finally called it a night for the three of us. And yes, I did actually have fun. We managed to get through every possible guy that threw us a dirty glare as well as the guys who couldn't stop staring wildly at us. I walked home alone because the girls had to buy food for them for the week or even the month.

"Are you sure you don't want to come with us?" Autumn pleaded as I only cooed at her.

"Yeah, its not fun without you." Eryn added as she earned a light punch from Autumn. "No, I meant-"

"Whatever," she argued as I ran off already. I didn't actually want to hear another word for the night, I mean I like being with people but most of the time, I would miss being alone.

I walked and walked until I heard some footsteps behind me as I played dumb and pretended that I didn't hear anything and tried to walk a little faster. I kind of heard giggles of men and I definitely knew it wasn't going to end up well.

"Hello, beautiful," a man said as he walked towards me. Shit.

"I'm sorry, can you please get out of the way. I need to be somewhere."

I politely said as he just laughed and stood in front of me like he didn't hear me say anything.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here? A pretty British woman out in the streets of Portland, all alone?" The other man sarcastically said.

"I beg your pardon, but let me just inform you that I am in need of somewhere at the moment and I don't know if you're deaf or just an idiot but-"

"She called you an idiot, Kev."

"I know, Austin." I laughed.

"Why are you laughing?" He then pushed me to the cold hard wall and I stood there blankly, not even having a plan here.

"Kev, just do it already." Apparently, the guy named Austin tried to encourage him to do some crazy shit.

"What are you gonna do?" I asked, still pinning me on the wall.

"just let me go, bloody hell." I tried to budge.

I tried pushing them away but they were too strong and I didn't want any fights here, but I guess they pushed me enough already.

I just wanted to go home.

"Help! Please, help me! I'm being-" I shouted out for help as Kev, the other guy, covered my mouth.

"Are you fucking out of your mind?" He argued.

"No, you both are. Just please let me go, I didn't even do anything to you guys."

"just stay calm, we're not going to hurt you." I've heard that line since I was a kid, and they end up getting what they want in the end, but not tonight.

So, I kicked him in his balls.

"Ow, fuck!!" He cursed as he let go of me as Austin tried to help him too. And that's where I got the chance to run which actually helped me for a few seconds but then I felt two hands grab me on my waist. I turned and saw Kev, with a smirk on his face.

"Got ya'," he said as I cried out to him to let me go which made him do the opposite. He tried to take off my clothes as I tried getting him off me. And then I see Austin cover my mouth with a piece of cloth and I couldn't actually see anything clear anymore until I saw one guy come up to me and I could only feel numbness.

"Ava. I'm here, let's get you home," and it repeated forever and then I suddenly blacked out.
