Dating

I'm totally speechless. What did he just say. I barely know him. As I take longer to answer him his smile fades slowly. I am struggling for words.

"Pe- Pe- Peeta." I mange to get out. Instead of saying yes I don't say no. "Maybe." I say with hint of mystery.

He smiles wide at my answer. Then I walk back into the cafeteria with this big grin on my face.

Everyone is staring at me when I sit down because everyone saw me leave with Peeta.

With Madge being Madge she has to ask the very question I didn't want to answer. "Did he ask you out! Tell me! Tell me!!" I nod and she squeals in delight. "Ohhhhh what did you say!" Glimmer screams. I reply "I didn't say yes or no I said maybe." The stare at me in disbelief. I smirk. Then Clove says "Why would you do that he is one of the hottest guys in District 1!" I roll my eyes at their silliness. Peeta walks back in and sits next to me. Good.

I whisper into Peeta's ear my answer.

Which just makes his grin grow wider. Everybody else looks confused. Peeta takes my hand under the table. My grin turns into a toothy smile. Which I haven't smiled like that since my dad was killed in a car accident.

I rest my head on Peeta's shoulder.

Madge squeals "You two are perfect

for each!" I roll my eyes at her.

The bell rings and me and Peeta head for Gym. Which is a total disaster. One, the uniforms show off to much. Second, I only have Madge, Johanna, and Peeta in Gym.

I go off into la la land but brought back by the scream of Coach Ebroia. "KATNISS EVERDEAN!" I look up startled. "Wuh?" I look around confused. So people laugh which makes me blush. She then continues on with what she was saying.

The rest of the day goes by a blurr. (A/N: really because I'm just to lazy to write it.)

I walk home alone to our new mansion. Our house happens to be neighbors with Finnick's. He's the perv in the Victors. I walk gallop up the stairs to my room to get ready for my date with Peeta. I don't know where he is taking me so I dress in a white tank and faded blue jeans. I don't bother with makeup. I leave my hair down instead of braiding it. I walk down stairs and grab a carton of milk and a bowl of cereal.

After my breakfast/dinner I roam around my house till I find Prim's room. I knock on the door. No answer. I knock again and whisper her name. No answer. I open her door a creak to find no one there. I walk around looking for Prim. I look every where until I'm running around the house frantically searching for tiny little Prim.

I hear the door bell ring. Walk up and get it to see Peeta in a tuxedo holding a bukea of flowers. "Hey Katniss ready to go?" Peeta says with his a amazing smile. I nod still worried about Prim. We walk toward his car to find a Sunset Orange Mercedes 2145 Convertible. I gawk at it. "Katniss?" Peeta says snapping me out of my trance. I get in the car and start to hum as Radioactive comes on.

We end up driving to the woods. He leads me through the woods and to a clearing where a picnic is set up. I gasps at the sene unfolds around me. Twinkling lights strung from tree to tree formed in a circle. A plaid red and white blanket with a basket in the middle of the circle.

"Did you do all of this for me Peeta?" I ask clearly shocked because know one in District Twelve would ever do such a thing for me.

Peeta nods and smiles sheepishly. He leads me toward the blanket. We sat down and started to eat. "Katniss," Peeta asks with a nerves face "will you be my girlfriend?" His eyes look hopeful. I smile and say "Yes." He hugs me and we get up. He kisses my cheek. We walk back to his car the drive back was silent.

When we got to my house he walked me back up to the door kissed my other cheek goodnight. I walk through my door and remember Prim is still missing.

I search again then I get back to her room to see of she is there. I find Prim lying on the floor dead.
